The Process By Michele Benson The Process. It took Jesus 33 years to complete the purpose that He was born for. In the meantime Jesus worked on what was needed to be worked on leading up to his death. In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus prayed for the cup of death to be removed from him but he knew that it was the process he had to go through to fulfill His purpose. He wanted to give up do to the fact he knew what was coming would be hard to bare. Jesus response in return was “Nevertheless not what I will, but what thy wilt”. I believe because the purpose is greater than the pain He took on the process of being crucified. Durning our process we may get a little discouraged about the assignment we have to complete do to test, trails and mistakes. As soldiers of Christ we have to watch and pray so that the enemy won’t tempt us into failing to do what it is God called us to do. Jesus stated to his disciples “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.” Jesus life was the process, him being sacrifice was the purpose and being resurrected to give us new life was the promise. We are still reaping from the process he had to take for his purpose being fulfilled. Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. Making it Personal - It maybe a writing project, college, building a new business or ministry there will be a process that you need to go through to get it done. During the process you maybe tested, tried and have to put some things to the side. Trust the process and you’ll see the promise. Dont forget “Our ultimate process” is to live a life that will make it to the Kingdom. Quote Note - Trust the PROCESS and you’ll see the PROMISE. Painting Lesson Luke 23:1-34, Hebrew 12:14, Matthew 5:11 By Michele Benson How many can say that you won't paint an ugly picture of someone else even though they've painted one of you?.. You can have an opportunity but you must refuse because it's not your nature too, even if you have dirt on them and can share their faults, see thing is you have no right (painful it maybe) you are to be an portrait of peace. I must warn you If you decide to get even what does that say about you? The portrait you paint shows your hate. In the bible the Jewish people painted a bad portrait of Jesus with their words until he was crucified by it. Our Lord and savor with all that was done to him stated "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34 It's personal- You may be in this situation where you've been painted as a bad person and your reputation is being murdered. Do what Jesus did and forgive them and let it go. Others can kill your name here on earth but it is alive in heaven. Quote Note- The picture you paint of others really reflects you.
