Medium: Acrylic on canvas

I chose this piece only because I can see my initials in there. The letter M is what stands out for me since it is large and centered directly on the top of the canvas. As you can see the artist used up the entire space of the canvas. It has a variety of colors and it looks like it has some texture to it as well. The longer i look at this piece, the more tiny figures i see with eyes on them looking directly at me. Makes me feel as i am being watched.

Medium:  dimensional archival digital photographic print with acrylic paint

I chose this piece because it shows a little bit of action. It has two faces that look similar because they both have black and white noses but the masked out faces are in two different colors, a soft orange color and a deep green color. One face appears to have blood coming out the nose because it got sucker punched by the fist that appears right in front the face. The blood stands out a lot because it is red, thick and right over the green masked face.

“Lost at Sea”

I got this quote from a song titled “Lost at Sea” by Zedd. It is a nice song about how he wants to get lost at sea with a girl. So, I cut and pasted the water with the bottle onto my paper. I used a glue gun to put glue behind the top part of the bottle to make it look as if it was really coming out the water. For the sky,  i used chalk pastel to give my image a soft look. I also used glitter in the water to give it a shimmer. The water and the sky are both different shades of blue. I wanted it to show the bottle lost at sea during the day time.
