If you're European like me, or currently living here, or you've heard the news, you know the heat is killing us all. I feel like I'm being boiled alive. Leaving behind dry, sunny Maine for this and being hit with all the humidity is just... Ugh.

Anyways, this whole situation has me thinking about Realized! Eddie and Volt experiencing summer for the first time and not knowing that you have to take precautions against the sun, the heat, the bugs, and so much more...

Eddie doesn't like the sun. He's used to being indoors, and all that blinding light and scorching heat is just overall annoying. He's not as susceptible to sunburn as Volt is, luckily, but it's still annoying when he has to work on renovations outdoors. The number of things he has to repair due to bug infestation also gets on his nerves. All of that combined means that he goes back to only working super early in the morning or late evening.

Volt initially likes the summer, or at least, the idea of it: sipping cocktails on the beach, wearing more flowy, revealing clothing, getting to enjoy the longer days, all the summer activities! That is until he actually steps outside and gets a sunburn within 10 minutes. He's pretty pale, of course it was bound to happen. Especially if he doesn't put on sunscreen or doesn't check the FSP on the bottle. During the first week, he suddenly felt extremely dizzy while showing some clients to a new property and had to stop the tour. Thankfully, the heatstroke wasn't too bad, but he definitely got his ear chewed off by Eddie and live wire. From now on, he also adapts Eddie's working hours, and when he goes out, you never see him without sunglasses (and a lightweight hat, if it matches his outfit).
