First is the standard short mane style. This is the most common

Second is when his mane grows out to full length. He looks fabulous

Third is the style Midnight’s mane take when the enchanted alice band is put on and Midnight becomes his Mare form, Middi.

I often see foxes referred to as “catdogs” on Tumblr, but I wonder if folks realise how true that really is.

There’s a phenomenon called convergent evolution that occurs when two taxonomically unrelated species exploit the same ecological niche. The features that are needed to best take advantage of a given niche are pretty much the same everywhere you go; thus, over time, those species will become anatomically and behaviourally similar, even though they’re completely unrelated.

And foxes? Foxes are what you get when an ecosystem has no native small felines, so a canine species evolves to take advantage of the ecological niche that would have been exploited by a small feline, if one existed.

In other words, a fox is literally what you get when a dog tries to cat.

So, in a way…

So after another pleasant scheduled check in with Celestia Midnight is about to leave when Celestia gets another guest. Someone she knows too well. An old student of hers. Midnight is certainly surprised indeed since last he heard Twilight was running that friendship school of herself not to mention having plenty of responsibilities as the Princess of Friendship. And he had never seen her up close before. Had she always been that big?

Isn’t she just gorgeous? Quite the Alicorn now isn’t she ^^ Well that’s that a 20 year time skip will do to you. Not to mention the Alicorn magic within her slowly changing her physique to what it is now. And maybe becoming a mother had something to do with it to….I’ve said to much ^^ Want to know more you’ll have to send me some asks and find out.
