listen I love the new moon movie but i’m upset about how much they changed jacob and his relationship with bella for the movie. in the book he knows never to mention edward bc it would hurt bella but in the movie he’s like “how old was that cullen guy anyway” and they don’t hold hands in the movies and we didn’t get the spaghetti dinner I WANT THE SPAGHETTI DINNER they hold hands and run out of the shed giggling like kids so that their dads don’t find out they were working on the bikes how did we miss so much

The close relationship between Jacob and Bella was completely played down in the movies. They made Jacob look like he was delusional about how Bella felt about him so they could maintain the fantasy of dEdward being her soul mate.

They left out so much. We didn't get the vision of Bella's future with Jacob, their children, their lives. It's really sad what they did to Jacob in the movies, as if what SM did to him wasn't bad enough.

SAY IT AGAIN. Nah cause people really don’t realize how exceptionally close Jacob and Bella was because they’re automatically judging them from the movies. There was a lot of affection and vulnerability between them in the books, for example, when Jacob was talking about Sam on the cliffs, he teared up and Bella hugged and comforted him. We needed to see that type of shit in the movies.
