I really appreciate them hopping on mic to just be like “guys this is crazy. Also the photos are going to suck.”

The Artemis II crew naming two previously undiscovered lunar craters (one after Commander Reid Wiseman's late wife).
Guys this is crazy.
Some more photos recently downlinked from the Artemis II crew. The Moon, including the edge of the far side, as viewed on approach. From top to bottom, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen and NASA astronauts Pilot Victor Glover and Mission Specialist Christina Koch observe the crescent Earth as they near the Moon, while NASA astronaut Commander Reid Wiseman observes the Moon.

Oh I’m having a time.
We’re all crying, yeah?
The crew of Artemis II were greeted this morning with a message from the late Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell, who flew aboard Apollo 8, the first mission to the Moon, and was the commander of Apollo 13, flying around the Moon in a free-return trajectory in a similar path to that followed by Artemis II. Though Lovell passed away last year, his spirit lives on in the heart of the Artemis program as we follow in his incredible footsteps.
I had to call out of work this morning because I injured myself in my sleep lmao. Convinced it was the universe sparing my coworkers from how absolutely insufferable I will be the rest of today.
Yo does the app lk suck or am I bad at using it?
Also I would love a Simple Timeline but I can’t find one anywhere, i just keep being redirected to App.
Guys it was user error.
I still think the app is bad but I at least figured out how to use it.

After a successful trans-lunar injection burn, Artemis II is officially on its way to the moon!
