May I ask for a fic with Damien and Lucien? Not shipping, just their father-son relationship Maybe with Lucien worried abt Damien for whatever reason you choose
Oh yes. I love a good father-son relationship and Damien and Lucien are just so supportive of eachother.
Lucien worries about his dad.
No matter what Ernest said Lucien was not being overprotective. He was just reasonably concerned about his dad. His dad has had too many bad relationships in the past and he was going to make sure you weren't gonna add to that list.
His dad might not appreciate that Lucien was currently glaring at said boyfriend, waiting for your response.
He came over to your place specifically to warn you on what would happen if you even thought about hurting his dad. If you weren't going to treat his dad with the respect he deserves then he would have to make sure you would regret it.
He was expecting confusion or some type of negative emotion to show on your face, but he was the one confused when a warm smile took over your face.
"I promise you I'll treat your dad the best I can and if I do end up hurting him, I'll accept any punishment you deem fitting."
He was not prepared for this. He's given this exact same threat to all of his dads previous partners, but none of them had reacted quite like this. Most of them had either laughed or ruffled his hair. But to be fair he had been a lot younger those times. Still he sneered "I'm being serious, old man."
To his chagrin your smile only grew. If you weren't talking him seriously, he would have to fulfill some of those threats sooner than anticapated.
"I know you are, but so am I. I really like your dad and I'm prepared to work for the relationship. Your dad is an amazing person and I'd be a fool to not take this seriously.“
Okay he had to admit. That sounded very genuine, but it would take more than that to prove to him that you were being sincere.
He forced his face to remain neutral. "Just remember the consequences if you hurt him." He catched a glimpse of your nod while turning around and heading out the door.
He didn't want to admit it, but he was flustered and had to force himself to slow down his walking while heading towards his home.
He watched as aunt Marys kids played in their yard. Maybe he should get them to do some observation work while he was gone. He was going to start college in a year and with him gone there wasn't really anyone to look out for his dad. Unless you counted aunt Mary, but she had her own life with 4 kids so she had her hands full most of the time.
It has been just the two of them as far as he could remember and could he really trust you enough to look after his dad. He knew his dad was an adult who was cabable of critical thinking, but he could be so naive some times.
He sighed as he made it to the front door. Once he was through it, he heard sounds coming from the kitchen. When he got to the kitchen he saw his dad wearing an apron looking at something in the oven. He just stood there a while just staring.
He was feeling melancholy and he really just wanted to hug his dad. Before he could move though, his dad turned around.
"Oh, Lucien you're home already. Dinner should be done soon if you're hungry." He couldn't help it. Before he knew it he was taking a couple of quick steps and hugging his dad tightly.
It took a moment, but soon he was hugging back almost as tightly. "Not that I'm complaining, but is there a reason for this sudden affection? Did something happen?"
He didn't answer at first, but that would only make him worry more. "I'll just really miss you when I start college." It wasn't a lie, but not the main reason he was hugging his dad. Who tensed and hugged him a little tighter.
"Oh don't say that yet. It's not gonna happen for a while." They both knew that wasn't true, but it seemed neither of them wanted to face the facts.
"You're right. I'm just being silly." He leaned away from the hug to wipe his eyes. He hadn't even realised that he had cried.
Before he could pull away completely, his dad was dragging him right back into a crushing hug. This time his arms were pinned to his sides, so there really wasn't much he could in the situation.
"Don't you ever think like that again Lucien. Your feelings matter and never feel silly or bad for experiencing them" His dad really was awesome. He smiled into his dads shoulder.
Even if his college was on the other side of the country, he would make sure his dad was okay. Before either of them could say anything more, the timer interupted them by telling them the food was done.
