the amount of bullshit we put these camera operators through. āHey one of you has to go up into the ferris wheel. Yeah the ferris wheel. If youāre scared of heights you can do drum tower climb instead but make sure to keep the ass is in focus cuz heās gonna shake it a bit.ā
happy 8th birthday jumpsuit. you may now start second grade.
"Warpath etched in the surface" and "drag path etched in the surface" have two very distinct but interconnected meanings. The warpath is the Banditos' battle against Dema. It's Clancy's fight against the Bishops and his own demons. The drag path is what's left behind long after the fight has ended. Drag Path as a song is the aftermath of City Walls, but it functions similar to The Contract following Paladin Strait. The progression isn't really linear. But having this very specific phrasing be used in City Walls and Drag Path makes it clear that the lyrical choice was intentional. For City Walls, the line is hidden in the first verse, attention not really drawn to it. It's a line you have to find. In Drag Path, the opposite is true. That lyric is the focal point of the song. In addition to this stuff, there's also the repeated phrase "I wonder where you are" in the chorus of City Walls. Clancy is searching, and the cycle keeps repeating, but by the time Drag Path comes around, "you found me." Torchbearer finds Clancy. Things aren't magically fixed, but neither of them are alone.
