I’ve been in a bit of a craze recently, the fixation is coming back to me. I have some more Bloodymary doodles lined up (or living in my brain) that I hope the people will enjoy

I may also take requests 😼 if it sparks any inspiration

Yes I am making Armando the tired exasperated team medic and Mary their cheerful sassy getaway driver, I hear you and I love it

Notes:

Armando studied and trained in anaesthesiology before switching to general practice; he’s trained in first aid and some advanced medical treatments thanks to that

Mary studies exoplanets and monitors some star systems (brightness, position, etc); maybe or maybe not at NASA, I haven’t decided

Armando is the older brother, he’s the same age as Simon (younger than Grace); I might do some age references later

Armando always either has tinted glasses or sunglasses to protect his sensitive eyes; he also always has a bottle of sunscreen on hand

Mary is a prolific dancer; she started with ballet, learned the salsa, had a phase of breakdancing, and now does contemporary

Mary is only a good driver when it suits her; know the rules so you know how to break them, as one would say

Ryland Grace and his Pokemon!

Ryland primarily has Psychic types with some outliers thrown in.

Apollo: Grace’s Espeon and his first Pokemon. Grace and Colt were both given Eevees as their first Pokemon . Grace’s Eevee evolved after he graduated high school. Apollo is very protective of Grace and he is never not by his trainers side.

Kit: Grace’s Vulpix. Kit was actually a gift for Colt from his and Rylands parents when they were kids. Colt primarily has fire types so they thought a Vulpix would be perfect for him. However, Kit was incredibly shy and timid and so she didn’t really get along with Colt much. She would sneak off to cuddle up next to Ryland while he read or studied. Eventually, Colt realized that Kit was happier with his brother, so he gave Kit to Ryland. Kit is a total snuggle baby and she sleeps beside Grace every night and whines until he goes to bed.

Ripley: Grace’s Elgyem. Grace found Elgyem abandoned by its owner and immediately took her home. Ripley took a while to warm up to Grace and was incredibly shy, often hiding from Grace. Eventually, she warmed up to Grace and will now often hold onto his leg for security. She also enjoys hovering around while Grace studies or teaches.

Mito (Mitochondria): Grace’s Reuniclus. Mito is Graces teaching buddy. He helps Grace in the classroom and enjoys playing with Grace’s students. He is very energetic and will often bring life to Grace’s class whenever they look bored. He is Rylands unofficial TA.

Zip: Grace’s Joltik. Zip is Grace’s bratty attitude personified. He is a spicy little shit who is fiercely protective of Grace. However, that doesn’t mean Grace is immune to his “electric” attitude. Zip will often shock Grace whenever he is annoyed or whenever Grace tells him no. Zip often likes hiding in Grace’s hair.

Polaris: Grace’s Solrock. Polaris is Grace’s most mellow Pokemon. She is a steady presence in Grace’s life and often hovers around him whenever he gets in his own head. She doesn’t do much, but her warmth and steadfastness makes her important to Grace’s own mental health.

Going to do Simon’s Pokemon team next. I am super excited to do his. After Simon, I’ll do Colt!

An Au idea im tossing around! They find the blood moon but no one alive on it. Simon’s ghost starts haunting Grace. Grace thinks he is going crazy when he starts seeing him. And dear god is he horrified. But then as Grace uncovers more about what the blood is and how this whole “ghost” thing works, Simon becones more and more corporeal. And they learn more about one another and start to fall in love 🥺
