Our indoor cat moved from a gray apartment block view to this
Not too long ago, my boyfriend and I were having sex. And I was getting sore from being in one position for too long, and I tried to stop. Too my surprise this frustrated him, he got upset with me and complained because of it, and tried to continue, even after he had lost my consent to do so…. It has been on my mind so much lately.. I did not end up talking to him about it out of fear, and denial. Now its been a month since, and i can’t help but wake up angry w him. I’ve been thinking about it so much that i feel i’ve lost attraction to him because of it, whist still loving him too much.
I feel like i know deep down, that once he lost my consent, it became rape. But at the same time, i feel myself trying to convince myself that I am wrong. Some advice would be amazing, because I feel like im spinning out of control. Thank you for reading… I really enjoy your blogs.

#LAVENDER sisterhood answer:
You have two different levels to think about.
With women all answers and understanding is in duality.
On the first is your emotional safety with him and your relationship. It has been destroyed. His trouncing on your needs to get his needs spills out into more than your sexual life together.
So this one issue that was formerly only emotional abuse spilled into sexual assault.
On another level: legal & civil this does not qualify as a “legitimate” rape. To seek any understanding from a patriarchal source (including female patriarchal puppies) will not recognize your side on this issue. Nothing wrong happened.
BUT as you sit in front of your computer ….
I am validating your emotions & feelings. What you’re feeling is real and your pain & anger is justified.
You were forced against your will to provide your body to full fill his needs when you didn’t want it. The real issue is losing control over your own body. and that is really huge!
Problem is:
and many women will back me up on this ….
if you continue this relationship into long term marriage: this attitude will get worse, more frequent & expected/desensitize.
Do you have the strength to just let this relationship end?
End Patriarchy | Why It Will Probably Never Stop
“Tumblr has taught me more about feminism than school ever did, and there’s something wrong with that.”
And that is the sad fact about this world. School never did - and probably never will - teach us anything about why patriarchy is so bad. It only tells us how everything was terrible for women some years ago, and that now, everything is perfect. It tells us about Lucy Stone and Rosa Parks, but not how we still need strong women like them. And it never tells us much about the current feminists like Malala.
Things are definitely better than a century ago, but are we yet where we need to be? Do women actually get the same rights as men? Of course! We get to vote, have the same job opportunities, wearing short dresses isn’t illegal anymore. Except that the interviewer will still prefer a male candidate over a female one, and if we wear what we want, we might just get raped.
And that will never change if we don’t stop teaching the same shit load of senseless ideals generation after generation.
We teach our girls not to wear short stuff, not the guy to not rape.
We shamelessly abort the girl child, and encourage others to do so.
We criticize the victim, and sympathize with the rapist.
And the next generation watches this, learns that this is the way of the world, and follows it. And the cycle simply repeats itself. Over and over. Forever.
The only way to stop patriarchy, is to teach children that it’s wrong. But schools don’t do that, and only a few parents actually tell their kids what feminism stands for. These kids start out good - respecting the girls around them - but then comes the overwhelming feeling to match friends who grew up thinking that males are superior, and there goes everything they ever believed it in the dump. Some of them do stick to their original ideals though, or change later on; and those are the good, perfect guys every girl dreams of. If only there were more of them.
If we ever want to change this state of the world, the kids are the way. And since kids just believe there parents, it might just end up never happening. And our world will always remain a pathetic place.
I wanna stick my hand in it but no I do not

This scene is SO important. Maleficent is with someone she trusts, someone she considers a friend. And then the next thing she knows, she wakes up in pain, bleeding, with her wings burned off. A huge part of her has been destroyed.
Rape is so prominent in our culture that it is in a Disney movie. Maybe not explicitly, but it is very clear what this scene represents and it is so sad.
I fucking cried my eyes out during this scene
AJ even confirmed that this is what this scene was a metaphor for (x) - just because i saw someone say today that this is not what this scene is about
‘We were very conscious that it was a metaphor for rape’: The actress explained how the scene in which her character has her wings ripped off her body while in a drug-induced sleep had to be something ‘so violent and aggressive’ that it would make her ‘lose all sense of her maternity, her womanhood and her softness'
when a man violates a woman, he cuts off her wings.
