This morning I finished reading a plan on the @youversion app. It's called " The Right Moves". Here are the lessons I got from it: . When you move in the right direction, you bring peace and change your life. . When you have a vision that aligns with God's plan for you, then no obstacle can throw you off track. . Once you know the path you are supposed to take, the one that leads to your purpose, don't stray onto a different path because it looks smoother over there. Looks can be deceiving. . By going into a path not meant for you, you will go through things that weren't meant for you and that will make your journey to purpose take a lot longer.

From 8th grade to early 10th grade, I would always prefer the black and white filters when it came to taking selfies. Not because I thought it was pretty or cool, but because it didn't show the color of my skin. Being insecure about my complexion had stopped me from truly appreciating myself. Now that I actually love my skin, I find it so hard to use a b&w filter because I don't want to take away the beauty of my melanin. I am not my skin, but I'm not hesitant to flex my complexion.
