RULES

1.Do not break the 4th wall, unless Deadpool or any other self-aware characters are involved   2. Violence and action will be involved in this blog, but I don’t do smut. Please be 18+ for any sort of adult themes.

4.If you want to drop a thread, that’s fine.  I try not to drop threads, so if I do without notifying, it’s nothing personal, and you can let me know if you want to continue. 5. This blog is Crossover and OC friendly. 6. I’m not as active a roleplayer, so please understand that I might be a bit slow. 7. Please do not assume that your characters know mine or vice versa 8. If you are a multi-muse blog, please use only one muse, or muse set, at a time.

9. I stop posting and reblogging between 8:30pm and 9pm. After that, I will be available for messaging until 11:30pm on my days off, and until 10:30pm on work days. Afterwards, I’ll be ceasing tumblr activity for the day.

10. This one is a big one. If I miss a reply, and haven’t replied in at least one day, tell me right away If you feel we don’t talk or RP often enough, tell me right away. If I do something that is bothering you at all, TELL ME RIGHT AWAY!!!! COMMUNICATION IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!

11. If it takes a while for me to get to your starter, don’t take it personally. .

12. Please understand that I have things I need to do off of tumblr, and might have to vanish every now and then. All in all, if I vanish, don’t worry. If it’s really serious, I’ll let you guys know.

13. If you want to RP, please send a request/starter to my inbox/messenger, or link me in a post. I have a bad memory, and will forget if I don’t have something to remind me.

Hi everyone

Idk how many of you know this, but I am currently paying for a huge debt my mother left me in my name.

I checked today and I thought it would be over in March, but its actually in April. It's a difference of one month, but I just can't take it anymore.

This whole situation, added to my fathers death, added to the fact that I basica had to run away from home and I still haven't treated any of this in the therapy added to worsen my mental state.

And it's hard for me to say this bc I already think I'm humiliating myself enough with this whole situation that seems never ending, but I am not coping well and I'm not really doing okay.

I HATE doing commissions under stress, but if you're interested in anything, even if it's just a sketch or a chibi, DM me, I am accepting even for $20 or something

20,000 Pounds of Trash Removed From Pacific Garbage Patch: ‘Holy mother of god. It worked!’

The man who won't rest until the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is cleaned up has successfully tested his system for doing so.

““The Great Pacific Garbage Patch can now be cleaned,” announced Dutch entrepreneur Boyan Slat, the wonderkid inventor who’s spent a decade inventing systems for waterborne litter collection.

Recent tests on his Ocean Cleanup rig called System 002, invented to tackle the 1.8 trillion pieces of plastic pollution, were a success, leading Slat to predict that most of the oceanic garbage patches could be removed by 2040.

Intersections of ocean currents have created the massive floating islands of plastic trash—five slow-moving whirlpools that pull litter from thousands of miles away into a single radius.

The largest one sits between California and Hawaii, and 27-year-old Slat has been designing and testing his systems out there, launching from San Francisco since 2013.

GNN has reported on his original design for the floating device, but his engineering team improved upon it. System 002, nicknamed “Jenny,” successfully netted 9,000 kilograms, or around 20,000 pounds in its first trial.

It’s carbon-neutral, able to capture microplastics as small as 1 millimeter in diameter, and was designed to pose absolutely no threat to wildlife thanks to its wide capture area, slow motion, alerts, and camera monitors that allow operators to spy any overly-curious marine life…

Slat estimates ten Jennies could clean half the garbage patch in five years, and if 10 Jennies were deployed to the five major ocean gyres, then 90% of all floating plastic could be removed by 2040.” -via Good News Network, 10/19/21

Recent update from this org: they’ve launched System 03 (in 2023) and have gone on over 100 expeditions and collected over 1 million pounds of trash! They also are working on cleaning up rivers :)

Important News

Is a grim day for privacy today. The EU Council adopted the Chat Control bill today behind closed doors, and now it will be moving to the Trilogue negotiations with the Parliament. We need to be louder than ever and put as much pressure as possible to our representatives. Cause once they all come to a final agreement on the regulations, we won’t be able to oppose it anymore as it will become law. Which means, no more privacy, silencing freedom of speech, age verification put into place to confirm if you’re an adult and ban of social media (the intent in general) for those under the age of 16.

This is a really dark scenario and unfortunately a real one. We are slowly stepping into age verification and mass surveillance era. That’s why is important to keep fighting. And we cannot give up now. I know all of this is really tiring and people have enough, but we cannot bend the knee now. Cause that’s what all those bureaucrats wants us to do. To give up, lower our voices, accept it willingly. So we have to show them that we won’t stay silent and that we are willing to push even harder than before. We have to keep contacting our representatives via letters, emails, etc. , sign petitions, protest, keep making noise about it. Keep the backlash loud and alive. We won’t give up on privacy. Privacy is a human right and we deserve to keep it. No one should be allowed to peek into our massages and invade privacy.

(final wars is my favorite godzilla movie)

Who can blame you? It’s a great Godzilla movie. Sure, Godzilla isn’t in it that much, but when he is on screen, he dominates, as he should. Not only that, but in its own way, Final Wars is an homage to the Showa era. Alien invaders, monster brawls, martial arts, Minilla, all familiar elements, trapping Godzilla in ice, all elements harkening back to the Showa era in the best possible way. So yeah, it’s my favorite too.

And here we have Dracula in his true form, the form he takes when he lets loose and relinquishes any restraint. He's still intelligent and able to speak, but in this form, he's also far more unhinged, far more sadistic, far more blood-thirsty, and as you can see, absolutely HUGE!

Here's a little idea I've had for a while. Nothing much, just a vampire boy band. Yes, I was inspired by Kpop Demon Hunters and the Saja Boys. You can blame KPDH for this one. You have Jason, the leader, Scott, the party animal, Justin, the showboat, Alastor, the eccentric, and Damion, the sensitive one. I'm having a devil of a time thinking of a name for their band. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

I think writers and roleplayers alike can agree that naming your OCs is the HARDEST PART OF MAKING THEM! Like, you have to be super careful that you're not creating an exact copy of a character that's been done before, ESPECIALLY if that character is copyrighted.

That being said, how many T. rex characters are named Rex? How many blonde girl characters are named Britney, Ashley, Lindsay, or Bridgette? Toy elves named Fritz or Quincy? Hens with old-sounding names?

Honestly, people having the same name as a completely different person is nothing new. Happens all the time. So don't be too discouraged if the name you choose is similar to someone else's. Just make sure the CHARACTER is unique enough from the other (and as always, be cautious about copyright)
