ROLEPLAYING PSA
|| Normally I don’t tend to do this, but today I saw someone I know getting passive aggressively nudged at by someone else. Honestly I view it as more than just passive agressive behavior and I feel the need to make these points very VERY clear.
When someone makes a blog:
They are not required to rp with you.
They are not required to answer your asks.
They are not required to answer your ims.
They are not required to be friends with you.
They are allowed to say no.
They are allowed to have their own limitations and rules.
They are allowed to have favorites.
They are allowed to stop rping with you if they no longer feel comfortable.
They are allowed to ask you not to message them.
They are allowed to feel uncomfortable with topics you bring them.
They. Are. Human.
And if you can’t deal with those facts, then find someone else to go play with. Don’t outright harass other people because you aren’t getting what you want. Because despite what you think: Constant passive aggressive messages are harassment. Sending them anons even when they ask you not to is harassment. Vagueblogging about someone is harassment. Sending your friends at them when they block you is harassment.
Don’t be a child. Don’t have a temper tantrum. Because that’s what you’re doing if you’re harassing someone. Rather than expending that energy and causing drama, just go and find someone else who does want to rp with you.
And while I’m on the topic of inappropriate rp partner behavior.. do NOT treat another person/character/blog as a therapist. If you are having trouble in your life, help is just a google search away. Do not go up to a character and start sending them messages asking them for help, because all you do is freak out the mun behind that character. They aren’t trained professionals. They don’t know what to tell you. Most of the time, they don’t even know you.
That is not what you do when you need help. I can’t tell you guys how many times someone came to me on anon on one of my previous blogs talking about suicidal behaviors and mental help needs. This is a huge issue because suicidal talk is actually a HUGE trigger for me due to past events.
You never know what you’re shoving in someone’s face that could cause a potential meltdown. So honestly, just don’t.
tl;dr: Don’t be a dick. If someone tells you no, just move on. Don’t treat others like therapists and look into actually getting the help you need.

It's been a few years since Dia returned to her dimension. The city is under attack, and all hope seemed lost, until a great blast of magic struck at the center of the army, killing many of the forces including the leader. The blast came from a white alicorn, with a mane of fire and stars. Upon their leader being dead and seeing the alicorn, the invaders lost the will to fight and fled, never to be seen again. The alicorn landed, her golden shoes making a racket on the stone ground. (miixedsins)
The light had crushed the shadows indeed, but in the presence of so much, others did appear. Some, only light flickers, and others grand stains on reality itself. But for now, the only visitor was the strong bodied ex-general as he surveyed over the battle with reluctant approval.
“You’ve grown up” he pointed out flatly. Normally, he’d have been more friendly to someone like her, but lingering memories of the way their last meeting had gone still hung around in his head. “That was some commendable work” he did add nonetheless, managing a small tip of the head and a smile.
A bright ball of sunlight shot down from the sky, landing right onto the pony. A loud Boom! sounded soon after, a large crater being left on the ground where the pony once stood. That will surely send a message to the others.
“Where were we?” Dia thought for a bit before beginning her story, “Many years ago our old enemy, King Thorax, launched a surprise attack on Equestria, seeking revenge. We won, but at the cost of the princesses’ lives. With their dying breaths, they gave me their magic, which is why I have stars in my mane. I became Queen a few days after the battle. There is some...backlash, from the ponies who held a grudge from my time as Daybreaker, but the coronation went on anyway. And that’s how I became Queen of Equestria.”

She sighed and rolled her eyes with a smile. Same old Danglarjack. “If you wanted me to leave you could’ve just said so. Glad to see you haven’t changed a bit.” Dia said before leaving, her shoes click clacking against the floor.
“Checked up on the banker. Still a coward.” She remarked to Fernand as she approached him, her wings stretching a bit as she adjusted her crown.
“He’s a foul rat through and through” Fernand remarked frankly. On his list of top ten worst ponies in the world, the banker easily topped it. “Come with me. The princesses want to bestow honors on you” Fernand grumbled, sour over having a moment of glory stolen away from him right under his nose. Of course, despite that, he still respected her accomplishment. He didn’t fancy his odds of facing her head-on if she was well and riled. Just as he was about to lead her forward, he held out his right hoof.
“Scavengers” he muttered, lighting up his own and firing a bolt of magical power into an alleyway. From the explosion scampered a small mob of raggedy looking ponies who had been doing their best to try to perform some robberies while the city recovered.
She stepped back a bit, eyes blinking from the explosion. She watched the ponies flee before settling. “Looks like they wanted to try and snatch whatever they can.” She commented, watching the last pony disappear into the shadows.
“Anyways, I’m glad that there are no deaths. My world had suffered so much though.....even the loss of my Luna and Celestia.....” She sighed before standing straight, “We’ll get to that topic later.”

“Well sorry if I ruined your chance to be a hero.” Dia giggled at his expression, “But I’m sure that you were very brave during the battle, knowing you.”
After that she began helping out with the corpses, carefully piling up each and every one of them. She also checked and healed many wounds of the citizens. She then spotted the banker. “Hello Jackie.” She said, chuckling at the nickname.
The stallion let out an indignant snort and pawed the ground, deciding to just give her some silence in response. He wasn’t going to have his pride mocked by some alien.
Danglarjack, meanwhile, had been hiding himself away behind three layers of lockdown and a private bunker in his building until he heard an all-clear. Even then, he was paranoid, and when he saw the frightful alicorn, his immediate reaction was a squeal of terror.
“MONSTER!” he screeched, zooming back behind his desk.
The queen let out a laugh at his reaction. Cute, she thought to her self as she approached the desk, maintaining a good distance from it to avoid frightening him further.
“It’s okay, Danglarjack. It’s just me. Remember? The same pony that wrecked your office and fixed it at the same time?” Dia said in a calm voice, trying to soothe the banker.

A chuckle came from Dia as she turned to face the stallion. “Well, I did what I had to do. I have a feeling that we won’t be seeing them anytime soon after that.” She remarked with a smirk. A serious expression appeared on her face as she surveyed the damage.
“How are the princesses? Any casualties we should worry about?”
“The only casualty is to the clean-up workers who have to handle the mess” Fernand laughed lightly, a bit more at ease when she didn’t show any particular grudge in response. “In reality though, we just have to wait and see for the census after to see what damage was caused.” Fernand’s family was safe, and that was the matter of chief importance in his head.
“But that’s only in my world. Maybe you have a spell for that”
“That I do, actually.” She smiled before closing her eyes, focusing her magic on one specific spell. Her horn glowed a scarlet aura as the broken pieces of the buildings went back into their respective places, surprising the workers. At the same time a bright light of the same color covered the entire city before vanishing. Dia let out a sigh of relief.
“There are no deaths. A lot of injuries, but at a manageable level. The princesses are alright as well.” She opened her eyes, “Looks like I arrived just in time.”

The only response from the small alicorn is a pained groan and twitch from her wings. Not long after her eyes opened, revealing an interesting sight. Deep scarlet eyes with golden irises, the pupils being slits like a cat. Those eyes strained to focus as the lay upon the unicorn.
“I don’t…think so….” The filly managed to speak in a strained voice, a cough following.
“Alright, hang tight. Help is on the way, okay?”
She sat down by the little one and held her hoof so she wouldn’t feel alone. She knew what it was like to be frightened and hurt and alone. But eventually her distress flare did pay off and some police ponies arrived. When they saw the fainted little alicorn they wrote back on a magic scroll for the ambulance. Star found herself protective of Dia already and wouldn’t let any of them too close to her.
The ambulance arrived soon after and went to lift Dia in the back of an emergency carriage to take her to the Ponyville Hospital. Star was allowed in the back with her.
“It’s going to be okay. I’ll be with you as much as I can. I’m Starlight. Do you have a name?”
Dia moved her head as much as she could, trying to see her surroundings. She had nearly passed out again from the blood loss by the time the carriage arrived, but a sudden jolt of pain from being moved forced her awake.
Breathing heavily, the filly turned her head to Starlight. "D-Dia.....my name is Dia." She managed to respond before groaning in pain.
Dia had just arrived in this dimension after learning a spell in her mother's book. Not long after her arrival she changed her clothing, so she won't be so out of place. Well, save for her enchanted glasses to hide what her eyes really look like. With the dress hiding her wings underneath, she looked absolutely like a normal unicorn. But as she was admiring the place, she bumped into no other than Count Fernand. The teen fell to the ground, her glasses falling off. [miixedsins (*waves*)]
“Hey, watch where you’re going” Fernand spoke, probably intending to sound restrained but making his voice boom nonetheless. His assumption that the pony who had smacked into him was some punk stallion was quickly shattered by a glance at the filly. “Oh. Oh, I did not mean that, señorita” Fernand quickly made his voice softer, abashed at his mistake. Poor filly, he’d have to make it up to her somehow. “Let me just help you up…and here are your glasses” Fernand murmured, picking up her glasses in his magic and giving them right back to her. But as he did, he did catch a glimpse of her real eyes. Maybe if it had been an adult, he’d have asked. But this was a filly that he’d just smacked into. There was chivalry to be considered!
“Where are you off to? Let me come along to pay for any expenses or just throw my weight around. Call it a gentlestallion’s apology” Fernand offered. He had no further political meetings for the day and his son was off partying, so this was really quite fortuitous.
Dia flashed a quick ‘I told you so!’ look to Fernand before stepping forward, doing a quick bow to the princesses. She’s gotta at least show some manners.
Luna’s horn glowed as a light went over Dia for a second, making the filly blink a few times. “She has remenants of a dimension spell.” She said not long after, “That make you feel better, Count Monsparkle?”
Fernand hung his head low, mortified at his mistake. He nodded dumbly, unable to even look the princesses in the eye.
“She did repair the damage she caused” he murmured, feeling obligated to at least regain his honor back in some way.
“My, what an orderly filly” Celestia noted, looking to Dia with a half-apologetic sort of look for Fernand’s obviously brusque treatment. “Well then, if it is fine with Dia here, I would think you would do well to make it up to her in some way.”
Dia relaxed, now knowing that nothing bad is going to happen to her. She moved her glasses back down to her face, the enchantment becoming active.
"Well Count Monsparkle, I am feeling quite famished after a long day. I forgot to eat breakfast before coming here, so some food would be nice."
