I've been getting some interesting asks recently and it seems my loyalty isn't as apparent as I thought it was TT. So here's my personal tier rank of the current grid. If your driver isn't Max, this (and my blog) might not be for you.

Hey, do you have access to that Telegraph article? If so, could you post a screenshot of the entire article? :(

anyway, i'll be waiting for a race around before summer break when 90% of the drivers throw a hissy fit about "they can't race" and "it's too much" and "not real f1" and then max will have to look into the camera like it's the office because he's been saying this since 2023 and when he said it at testing everyone got mad.
" if you make a wish to a fairy, the person you miss most will appear in the crystal ball"🔮
max saying there should be only one practise session in a weekend despite the red bull car being notoriously hard to set up and get into the window
max saying if someone is having unsafely slow starts they should start from the pitlane instead of changing the rules (people were convinced red bull had figured out starts because he said this)
never let your employer stop you from complaining ‼️
this is Max. Max loves his personal space. Kimi also likes Max's personal space

the reason these regs went largely unchallenged by f1 media until now is because they went largely unchallenged by f1 fans and i genuinely have to look no further than the charles and oscar spa situation to point out that it’s because a lot of you are embarrassingly allergic to hard racing that f1 thought they could sell this artificial bullshit as entertaining in the first place. remember how at the beginning of the season a lot of people swore up and down that watching the ferraris whack each other for the epic highs and lows of p3 was the best racing they’ve EVER seen in formula 1 and they called it ethical wheel instead of stupid fucking battery powered back and forth oh and then people who never watched a singular lap of a 90s f1 race started coming out saying the sport's been boring for 40 years now actually and it's not until 2026 that overtaking was made possible and kimi antonelli who gets noted for track limits 7 minutes into an fp2 session and who had you clutching a rosary last year whenever he got near your driver because as my best friend charles leclerc pointed out so astutely he is BAD at wheel to wheel no he's actually the best qualifier and driver on the grid and max verstappen with his clearly superior red bull engine he's just washed i fear don't worry about it
Verstappen: "Alonso still has the level to be in the top 5 at least"
happy anniversary to this incredible set of headlines
OBSESSED with the way cuteness aggression seems to take over Charles suddenly in that clip with Leo and he just grabs him to kiss him and now I'm thinking endlessly about Charles doing the same thing with Max
Oh anon, thank you for transferring this vision to me! Because, oh I see it- wow, do I see it. Especially knowing Charles is so affectionate and Max seems to soak up physical affection.
Maybe they're on Air Max or the couch at home with Max's head in Charles' lap, and Max is laughing at his own joke. That open-mouthed little-boy laugh, eyes all crinkled, pink-cheeked. He's looking up, waiting for Charles to laugh, too. Except Charles doesn’t laugh; instead, he gets this look and folds forward to pepper Max's face with kisses. His chin, his nose, his eyelid. It's ridiculous. Max laughs and halfheartedly tries to push Charles back, “Hey, Charlie, what—that tickles—what are you doing?”
“C'est trop mims, bébé,” Charles murmurs. He rubs their cheeks together, stubble catching. “So cute, let me just…” The rest of the sentence is lost, muttered into Max’s hairline, into the wet press of lips against his forehead.
Oh. Max's flush deepens and he just...melts into it. Closes his eyes and smiles as Charles's arms curl around his head. More haphazard kisses land on his earlobe and eyebrow. It's a little hard to breathe with a sweater sleeve half in his mouth, and Charles folded over him, but whatever. If Charles wants to smother him in—in love, who is Max to complain?
i love being a max fan so fucking much. he's always right. he's never two-faced. he's smart enough to see issues no one else can see. he's the car's best sensor. he's modern-day cassandra. he's got amazing tits. his presence alone is enough leverage to threaten a whole sporting organisation. his old teams call him a magical driver. he pushed for changes when everyone else was calling for his head. he loves his sport so much. his mediocre days are another driver's career defining drives. he's dave the cat. he predicted regulation issues three years in advance. everyone who meets him says he's in the Top 3 Nicest Human Beings on The Planet. he's always consistent in his opinion. he uses interviews to actually address issues in one go. he had the most dominant season in f1. he 'makes winning look easy'. he's honest and straightforward. he's the best there ever was and the best there ever will be. and did i mention that he's always right?
let it be known that i touch grass frequently and I’m still like this.
