Kevin Harvick: Max Verstappen absolutely manhandled that car this weekend with his on-track ability. He complained about it the whole time *laughs* but he made it work. You know, before the race, I was listening to the pre-race show and they were saying there's no chance Verstappen would be on the podium this weekend, yet he winds up P2. Those are the kinds of things that only Max Verstappen can do. I think he was able to put himself in a position to finish in front of Kimi and make something out of it going into the summer break. You can never count him out.

Kevin: Well, I typically love the NASCAR side of the world and typically lean that way. But since Will (Buxton) is not here this week, I figured I'd pick nobody that won. I would pick Max Verstappen, because he took a complete piece of crap car and finished second with it. Only the things that Max Verstappen can do.

What's so interesting about Max vs other rookies is Max was 17 and he was expected to act like a seasoned driver. Not just in driver ability but in every aspect. Where the new generation of rookies are here and very little is expected of them because they are kids. Even with the 2019 rookies it's just a totally different expectation level. Max opened the door for young drivers in a way they should all be thanking him.
