Pork and Apple Burgers are a tasty fall dinner idea that combines the sweet and savory tastes of grated apples with pork. These burgers with a hint of sage and a juicy, tasty patten are great for fall nights. You can make them your own by adding your favorite sauces and toppings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 2 apples, peeled, cored, and grated. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup minced onion. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp ground sage. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced cheese optional. Mayonnaise or your favorite burger condiments.
Instructions: Put breadcrumbs, minced onion, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, ground sage, ground pork, and grated apples in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together well, and then use your hands to form 4 burger patties. Warm up a pan or grill on the stove over medium-high heat. The burgers with pork and apples should be grilled for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have a nice crust. You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned. To put together the burgers, start with a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun and then add a pork and apple patty on top of it. You can put a slice of cheese on top of the patty if you want to. On the top bun, spread mayonnaise or any other condiments you like. Then, put it on top of the patty. Warm up the Pork and Apple Burgers and serve them with your favorite sides. Have fun!
