My Theory and Some Details I Notice On The Freak Circus
# My Theory about how they become human
In Harlequin's tent, where he tell us a story about the monster. He portrayed the man, and other humans with a mask. What i think is, the mask resemble a human. And when the story continues, Columbina appears on the screen.
She said, and i quote âI can feed you, grow strong, become human and build a home for us."
Now, my theory is⊠the members become human because of Columbinaâs influence. We know that Columbina resemble a human the most, maybe the effect of eating Columbina is making the others have more human like feature.
We can see from here, (a scene from Bilâs tent) that the other members DID NOT look like a human at all (especially Pierrot). Even if they manage to disguise themselves like they are today, the circus outfit is probably won't fit or didn't hide their features at all.
And, on this scene when they already eat Columbina and kill the previous ringmaster. The monsters are portrayed wearing a mask. Symboling that theyâve become a new âhumanâ.
Well, in my theory after they ate Columbina, their monster features is suppressed, or they become more human like. From one of nekoâs AMAs or Tumblr askbox (i forgot) he mentioned that we shouldn't expect any human features behind the circus clothes. That means, even though they look âhumanâ under those clothes they still have their monster featured but not that noticeable.

And, I also suspect that their âhumanâ forms didn't last that long. from the original outfit comic.
In here, there's no sign of horns in Pierrotâs outfit, even if he did it should have showed as a bulge, similar to Jesterâs outfit.
And here, we can see that his horns are showing up.
In my opinion, their monster features will show up if they experience any heavy emotional distress and it's unreversed, that's why the members eventually need to make new clothes to accustom their monster features showing up.
Summary: the members become human by the help of Columbina (maybe it's her power or the fact she resembles a human the most). And their monster form could showing up because of heavy emotional distress, make them need to modernize their outfits.
In here, when we arrived in our room, the balcony door is still closed and when weâre back from showering the door is open. Means, that Pierrot come to our room when weâre showering and there's a huge chance that he peeks on us.
Also here, in Ticket Takerâs tent when weâre exploring the mirrors. Pierrot in the mirror have a pretty different feature from the real Pierrot, idk if this could mean anything but in my interpretation, this means that the Pierrot in the mirror is not the real Pierrot and maybe an extravagant version of Pierrot.
