‘Monstruo’ podía ser una ofensa a otros pero Bulyeong ha escuchado aquella palabra muchas veces desde que era pequeño, cuando sus padres lo entregaron sin problema a la Ciudad Luminosa, cuando los mismos científicos estaban impresionados de la resistencia que tenía ante los experimentos o también, cuando muchas personas que intentaban acercarse a él solo encontraban una expresión gélida en su rostro que no se inmutaba a las cosas que pasaban a su alrededor. Ahora no era una excepción, aún no aprendía a dejarse llevar por sus emociones del todo, sin embargo admite que su pecho duele un poco al ser llamado de esa forma por Suyeong. “No es mi deber tocar ese tema y tampoco estoy seguro que quieras saberlo... pero Sooan no pudo hacer esto solo, que estés aquí es totalmente mi culpa.” No se refería solo a rescatarlo, sino también al cómo ese órgano tan peligroso llegó a manos de María, aún así prefiere ser el único responsable de la resurrección del más bajo y quitar esa carga de los hombros de su persona especial. Bulyeong escucha, inseguro de qué decir exactamente, había hecho investigaciones sobre el círculo cercano de Suyeong y complementado con información que Sooan ya poseía, encontrándose con una familia, amigos y vínculos románticos que lo dieron por perdido, algunos habían detenido la lucha mientras que otros continuaban el legado del chico de ojos redondos. “Has tocado y empatizado con otros, quizás más de los que crees, te convertiste en la esperanza de un nuevo mundo que muchos dieron por perdido ante la indiferencia de quienes lo gobiernan… Es una enorme responsabilidad que probablemente nunca pediste, pero que estás aquí por ellos, Suyeong, porque crees que merecen algo mejor y estás dispuesto a dárselos.” Sus oídos son sensibles a los ruidos por lo que percibe de inmediato el cambio de respiración y le aterra la idea de verlo saltar.
