My coworker kept trying to tattle on me for being on my phone. Twas. My fucking work phone. For work.

So I duct taped it on the back with that and anytime I worked with someone new I showed them and was like if you see bright pink! It's my work phone ^-^

Lumpfish come in a variety of shapes and colors.

This is what a normal lumpfish looks like. It is more elongated, but still a vibrant blue color. Very beautiful, very powerful.

Oh hey so I saw the tags about the cardinal in your backyard with a mix of plumage that’s both brown and red, my guess is it’s most likely a juvenile growing it’s adult plumage because the babies are also brown for a bit. But it could also be an intersex cardinal. Really, who knows!

So the thing is. This bird used to be red, but it dulled and turned brown in some places so it could be molting? And their mate is the BRIGHTEST cardinal I've seen too

They come every once in a while I'll try to get a picture next time

Our little safe haven for them ig bc Cardinals, Crows, and the bluejays all get along ??? The mourning doves too, but. They. Are kinda docile. Capybaras of the bird world

None attack the squirrels, raccoon, bunnies, or possums (or even the occasional mouse!!!!)

hi saw your note in the bird dimorphism post abt a cardinal thats both male & female colors. look into gynandromorph cardinals + juvenile cardinals, those are my best guesses

Will look into the first but okay let me explain we watched this cardinal over the last few months lose their bright red. We only have the two and one has always been bright red and his APPARENTLY partner transgendered for him ????
