ive said this before but i really do think a lot of the transmisogyny vs transmisandry debate is really really pillared on the white trans experience only. it's so obvious that people who talk about trans men view white passing trans men with their legal shit in order as the True End Goal of Transgender Men. which is just white supremacy but this time we include the trannies. which is apparently fine to you sick ugly fucks

as much as we can talk about the genuine use of malehood as a way to dismiss social responsibility, not that i think most of the internet is ready for that, these types of memes always make me pause a bit

because the left barbie in question is just. not being empathetic. there is no desire to connect to the right barbie over their now shared experience and understand why each others journey differed temporally. theres just condescension and ego. you weren't as good of a person as i was as quick as i was so you're inferior. as much as you can criticize the right barbie we can at least agree that theres a demonstrated (perhaps not sustained but it is an image of barbies so no one can make that judgement) will to connect. also people on drugs usually aren't very articulate to the actual phenomena and concepts they're trying to describe. i think left barbie needs to take some time to reflect too

and i am going to see iron lung and this isn't even about the movie but it does make me raise my eyebrow a bit when people say iron lung succeeded off of only word of mouth advertising which like. sure yeah they werent putting ads in at the superbowl or some shit. but it feels a little misleading when we're talking about the movie markiplier of 40 million subscribers has been talking about for years. That's not 0 advertising.
