I’ve been at Audi for some wild moments. I’ve felt like we could take the stadium off the ground. But god, I wish you guys could have felt this.

The moment she checked in, or just watching her get instructions, the road of the crowd and the standing ovation at that. Watching her dribble, evade defenders, her and Croix slowly building together after a few tries through the game. And finally, like it was written in the stars, this moment. Sport can sometimes transcend the moment and feel bigger than anything else and this was that.

There is nobody like Trinity Rodman and if this is the last season we have her how lucky are we to have watched her grow and develop? How lucky are we to see this star, this phenom, this miracle.

How lucky am I to have watched her becoming a legend week after week up close and personal.

To quote Trinity in the post-game, “just joy.”

with foxy playing right back and trin being the usual right winger, foxy looked a little more free, could play at a more comfortable pace and was able to push the ball up more because trin can also make a run back and help defend if needed. beth mead cannot.
