Lichtenstein Castle is a 19th-century Gothic Revival castle located in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was built between 1840 and 1842 by Duke Wilhelm of Urach, inspired by the novel “Lichtenstein” by Wilhelm Hauff. The castle stands dramatically on a cliff in the Swabian Alps and is often called the “Fairy Tale Castle of Württemberg.” Today, it is a popular tourist attraction known for its stunning architecture, historical weapons collection, and breathtaking views. 🇩🇪

Clay Figure from Ibiza, Spain dated between the 4th - 3rd Centuries on display at the National Archaeological Museum in Madird, Spain
This figure has traces of yellow pigment on the kneck and the torch in their hand. The rosette-motif diadem suggests this is either a depiction of the Punic goddess Tanit or a worshipper of her. Tanit was a common deity in ancient North Africa and some archaeologists have theorised that worship for her inluded infant sacrifice.
