• He is BANNED from cooking duties due his clumsiness and incredibly strange unfortunate circumstances where every time he starts fire.

• Has a little tsun part for everyone he loves.

• If he had taste some human food, favourite would have been a sourdough. Like. A raw one. Or mochi dough. Love how stretchy and squishy it is under teeth.

• For sure, he is strong and professional with weapon like other crogs but everyone has their own speciality and he likes more axe type weapon. Does NOT respect people who uses poison on blades. Kross

• Maniacal strictness in everything. A 100% perfectionist, especially towards himself. That's why he was able to rise to the rank of general so quickly.

• He can relax, he has a full day off only for him, polishing weapon and his lovely ikebanas.

• His hobby is some sort of gardening.

• Some trees and shrubs for bonsai come from other planets, and quite a few flowers were taken from Nurasia and Byrus (before it withered because of stupid decision of Toros)

• Actually was prim and bitey from larvahood. Especially bitey in that period. He bit everyone until get hanged on clothe hook (time out corner something like that).

Spirit

• For a god sake. He has sweet tooth. Cream and egg desserts are favourite. Egg pudding with strawberry syrup is his the most favourite sweet!

• Actually chill guy. Didn't understand why some humans referenced to their race as a 'real' no-faces until he had seen a movie. He slightly agrees with this nickname, because yes, they look similar.

• Likes Earth. He likes a Nature of Earth, sea waves rustle, wind whistle and calm silence at the most secure part of Earth.

Eva

• Sleeps on every literature, civics and geography classes, because it's too boring even to sit on this.

• Actually has holographic cards with the coolest racers on Earth. She actually has some guest cards but threw them away, especially Filsian guest card.

• Fucking hates history classes. And fucking hates history teacher.

• Sometimes couldn't hold herself and sneak into midnight diner to write another letter that she wouldn't send to her dad.

OH MY! You scared me. So uh. I thought no one is actually going to ask about it. So I'm very happy!

Khem. To the topic.

As you can see I'm more russian speaker, but I'll try to translate my stupid bubbling about crogs.

First, their ancestors. Due their antennas and their a little strange proportion I think they can be arthropods, like cancers or scorpios and not a mammal. And because of this I came to thought that Kramm can be more cold planet with one-two continent. Geography more extravagant and tougher, like ozone holes up of several part of continent making it extra hot places to live or places where almost everyday could be such a strong winds that forming sand stormes. So crog's ancestors is need to be strong and more collective. Like bees! And they have a queens! But because of some cataclysms they escaped into caves where they found Bloodlite - mineral which has big radiation power and some illogical magic quality? I actually rely on part about Avatar magic and yada yada. In the light of this mineral crogs, more like their queens, became smarter and get some aging immortality. No they die and get killed when it can happen, but females age mooore longer than males. But after so many years of evolution and degradation, queens... They became a big blob thing. I mean-

Females because of their due to constant exposure to bloodlite and their lifestyle, where activity could only occur during sexual intercourse, competition for dominance in their nest (there is only one queen and two princesses), and emergency nest defense, females degraded into a kind of lake of cells. All vital organs were at the bottom of the body, and the females found themselves in a kind of suspended animation. However, even in this state, they can still produce offspring and even send sound and pheromone signals that only the Krogs understand (subconsciously). And now... We have a strange formation. Crogs (males and half-female) is the one who we can see on screen, but females aren't. Oh, and females are named Klyuchenkya. I won't translate it how I made it with bloodlite, because it's more cute pronunciation.

Okay. The ancestors was, in such strange and chaotically way, a little bit finished. So which one you wanna know more?

There's like... from up to down: movement, nervous system, circulatory system, respiratory system which is little, sense organs and regulation, excretory system, digestion and diet, breeding and growth. The last one was about ancestors so don't choose it.

Their main source of energy is Energon (fair enough) which is found in a solid crystal form that they have no method of self processing. They have to liquify and refine the stuff manually and externally before they can drink it AND it’s only found on ONE planet. The only reason it exists literally anywhere else in the universe is because during the war, both the Autobots and Decepticons would stash the stuff away on random planets.

They don’t even know how to synthetically reproduce it! At least not very well, synth-en had weird effects on Ratchet.

Like???? I can go outside and eat some berries. They’d be shitty city blackberries but there’s a whole zero effort, aside from finding it, required to eat them. Agriculture is more advanced than mining for food, they’ve been doing the equivalent of foraging for their entire existence!!

Next up!

They bleed pure Energon, which, yeah it’s gotta get from your tanks to whatever needs energy somehow, but I expected something more like converting Energon taken from tanks into electricity which then signals via wires to make the body do stuff.

If you get shot in the tank youre basically dead unless you can warp/weld metal on the spot to heal up. The only reason full body Energon lines would make sense is if there are one way valves into mini tanks in each area to ensure that the bodypart can function if cut off from energy

But this also implies that it just starts to degrade/rust instantly if cut off

Energon doesn’t clot either: if they’re injured, it just flows freely. Blood seal’s itself up and sends proteins, hormones, and immune cells to help fight infection and heal the wound, so long as you’re not stressed or starving you can heal on your own (depending on severity). But they can’t, they need to be manually repaired for every injury. Their armour means it’s rare, sure. But they’re kinda fucked if they’re injured without a medic.

SOMETIMES theres nanites/nanobots that act as an immune system depending on continuity, but they’re basically never elaborated on??? Which kinda makes me disregard them as a McGuffin tbh

There’s definitely diseases, Optimus basically instantly started dying when he got some infected energon in his eye which suggests a whole entire no immune system. Like…plants and most animals have at least a PASSIVE immune system (that is, defences that fight intrusions but cannot learn to fight better during a second infection). Even for severe and highly infectious diseases there is always an incubation period before symptoms occur. Depending on the disease it ranges from days to YEARS.

NO IMMUNE SYSTEM FOR THEM THOUGH????

They’re literally millions of years behind evolutionarily because they only get born from either the all-spark or primus themself.

Yes, many animals survive just fine with a passive immune system and not an active one (aka their immune system cannot/does not learn from infections like ours does). But THOSE ANIMALS TYPICALLY REPRODUCE IN LARGE AMOUNTS VERY FREQUENTLY!!!! They can adapt and evolve fast BECAUSE they die a lot

One two combo of no immune system and no active evolution means that once an evolving system has grown to accommodate them (aka Earth) they’ll be quickly surpassed and consumed for their resources.

And that’s just taking into account life on earth.

They have no freeze resistance either, Arcee and Optimus almost straight up died in the Antarctic during the scraplet episode. I’m assuming it’s because energon solidifies at those temperatures? Which, fair enough blood does too. But seriously ZERO internal heating systems to prevent this?

I like thinking about that au because it actually has potential to be a worst happy ending for Eva. Let me explain that thought.
