Candy is so pretty but I swear she's cursed. I can't find any clothes for her and then when I do, it takes months to arrive and it's the wrong color. 😭 her boots and wig are just lost in post office hell forever I guess.

Would y'all be interested in seeing the doll related crafts I do?

I wanted to make a needlefelt hamster to go with these little sets! I made the ears and paws out of polymer clay. I originally wanted to sculpt tiny claw feet like hamsters have, but simply couldn't seem to make them small enough 😅 the eyes are the smallest I've found, and they're still somehow too big! The eyes are from a case of different sized eyes, the ones I chose are even smaller than seed beads.

The end result is bigger than I planned but it was fun to make, and I can always try again!

It's my last night in NY after the con, I can't sleep and it's making me think.

I love dolls. I love my dolls. I love other people's dolls. But.

I've lost but only my motivation for my dolls but also my inspiration. There's always a million things on my to-do list, it seems it's always growing. There's so much I want to do, make, create! But I often feel there is an invisible wall in my way.

I think, maybe, I should watch some media I've been meaning to watch. Read books and watch videos on fashion construction and history. Attend my friends dnd sessions they welcomed me to sit in on. Basically all to say, return to things that have sparked my inspiration and joy in the past.

I'd love to hear what you do when you feel this way!

My little sun crow 💕 She's an art doll made of polymer clay and her wings are felt, crafr foam, and the pinion feathers are individually wired and attached to her armature so they can be opened and closed and posed.

She has a twin brother who is a black sun crow :))
