It is only because of a special thing â the same thing which makes up our altarâs core â which allowed us to survive.â âButââ âSurvive, I said, not live. We survived. We clawed out a cruel existence in the darkness, and we did what was necessary.â Mikaboshiâs gaze hardened, his strange eyes dark and determined. âWe will always do what is necessary. You wouldnât understand that, in your home under the sun.â
Or - Sojo is taken prisoner by soldiers of the Mikaboshi, and subjected to a ritual which can only end in agony and death.
