(Note: We are still changing EVERYTHING. We desparately need a makeover. In the future we plan on using more of our own material. This online modge podge is semi-anonymously ran by a doll apart of a bigger group of dolls. Most of us are friends only online or through music concerts. For us online, Doll wants to humanize the internet existence of other online music lover/addicts. We are groupies in training, and we have nothing but good intentions. Doll Nation encourages public meetups (such as: going out for pizza meetups), following bands around, making friends in your local scene, setting your own goals, being an autonomous individual, supporting local talent, support all music. So, callin all music lovers/groupies/wannabes/etc. You can be as loud or as quiet as you want to be. Just remeber to be you, be a doll and never let anyone tell you groupie is a dirty word.

Moving Website to new tumblr page

Doll Nation is still up and running. However, We are moving --- one last time.

This way, we will no longer be a side blog and I can give the other dolls the information without feeling violated since I am semi-anonymous. 

This will also prevent slip ups as I am so prone to. That have happened where I have meant to post something for you guys and instead it gets posted onto my personal space..... That. that has to stop.

So! This new space is now to be in use.. It isn't as pretty. But it will suffice and it will be made over to fit Doll standards.

I think this new way of posting will be much more proactive as opposed to when I was psting up a bunch of stuff. Although, I miss posting up a bunch of stuff. It was fun.... I just want to put out there that Princess, an AfroLatina trans woman at Temple University, also talks about how her university downright refused to investigate her rape even though medics and police officers were there after the assault, and let her rapist walk away unquestioned. Please use the momentum of this story to help multiply marginalized women, especially those who are getting absolutely *no* support or attention for the violence they are surviving.

I love getting dressed for shows & doing my hair & makeup. And I wear my little chunky heels (think one inch or lower. They're dancing heels!!). But I feel like sometimes I may come off as desparate or attention seeking due to my overtop outfits & it really makes me feel bad. because I don't feel I am. I mean I like attention, but that's not why I do this. I feel incomplete when I don't, but not worthless..I can skip months w/out make up & I feel no different. More like a half full canvas.

Sofia and I are the same. We wear dresses when everyone else wears jeans…it’s just a personal choice, I don’t know why people are so negative about the way other people dress. I guess it’s one of those things we have to out up with until we’re in the company of more understanding people. I mean, some people are so set in their ways and misconceptions that it’s too much time and effort to try to convince them otherwise. And many don’t want to learn. So you just carry on being yourself!
