Earlier on I did a bit of meditation (aka, sitting with drony music on low and trying to not think about anything for like 30 minutes) my dearest brain of whom I'm not on the best of terms with right now decided to gimme a very very vivid image of Atem sat next to me. So vivid I could almost touch, hehe.

Anyway the second I stopped doing sadboi brooding hours, I immediately scribbled down what I saw.

I wish I could truly capture how ethereal this man is to me. One day I'll get there. My art is very steadily improving. Younger me would be proud that my Atem's look like this now I think... I hope ദ്ദി(｡•̀ ᗜ<)

I wanted to play at least a little with unreal colors and forms made of fractals and ideas of rot/mimicry/apocalypse since that was a lot of the Vibe TM that Splash's fic left me with and while I think I could've done more if I was more patient, I just needed some kind of release from the vice grip this fic has had on my mind for solidly the past four days.

This isn't the only thing I want to make in this universe (and is not the Project TM I've been alluding to chewing on) but it is one of the ideas that's been zooming around my head

Kaiba having a fondness for kids and wanting to see them have fun and share in the things he’s built is a great character detail that fits him very well but as w many characters like that it’s like wow that’s so interesting, how’s your own inner child doing. Yeah how’s he doing. Bc it kinda sounds like you keep him locked up in a trauma cage and most of his enrichment comes from letting him play card games through the bars. Can think of one thing of Gozaburo’s you failed to destroy bud and it’s in your brain unfortunately! You became your own persecutor while you weren’t looking!! Whoops!! “Nobody will EVER put me in a cage again,” said the guy actively locking himself in his cage. Love that for him
