Nyx/Nicks | 20s | they/them I do media analysis and art and a lot of yammering. | I’m also @hermesturtle on bsky but I don’t like it over there -w- Art Tag
Ostensibly I do character analysis and art, however there's a lot of shitposting too.
I thrive on interaction!!
Asks are open! (I’m sorry if I end up taking like a month to respond -w-)
DMs are open!
Come kick down my door and yap with me :D I’m nice! I don’t bite I promise.
Fandoms, Ask/DM rules, and art info below the cut
Asks:
I take questions/statements even if they're small or silly or whatever, I take ideas! I take analysis questions (though these might take a while to answer)! I take art requests (though these might take even longer to make and yanno- rule of Will I Have Fun comes first) I have fun with asks! I promise you aren't bugging me.
I do answer ship asks, though sometimes the answer will be 'eh not my cup of tea.
Really my only big bold rule: common internet etiquette applies. Be polite. Don't flirt with me. Don't send me hate. yadda yadda.
DMs:
I'm down with DMs! I like to chitter! Again, etiquette applies. Be polite. Don't flirt with me. Don't harass me.

Q: Do you take commissions?
A: What with often being busy with Uni, no.
Q: Do you sell your work anywhere?
A: no.
Q: Can I print out your art to hang on my wall?
A: If you really want to do that, go for it. just yada yada personal use only yada yada don't go profiting off my stuff or claiming you made it.
Q: Can I use your art as a lock screen/pfp/tumblr background/other misc decoration
A: go for it. So long as you're not claiming you made it I don't mind. Hell I'll probably find it cool as hell if you tell me about it. If you wanna credit me, go for it, but I don't particularly care.
Q: can I repost your work on other sites?
A: no.
Q: What program/tools do you use for your art?
A: Presently I use Clip Studio EX (2.0 or 3.0 don't recall which anymore) and a Kamvas 12 tablet (the cheapest screen tablet I could find on the market). If you want to get into digital art though, I'd rec Krita for 2d art and Blender if you want to try 3d. both are free and open source. I started out with an intuos S tablet, but I'd rec whatever the cheapest tablet with a few hotkeys is. do your research.
Q: What brushes do you use?
A: ...I have the worst answer which is 'whatever feels right for the piece'
the kaiba siblings as girls, but like.. they didn’t change much 😅
(mokuba wanted to match, so kaiba grew out her hair, which is the only change from og kaiba)
mokuba was already pretty genderless lol
if kaiba and mokuba were girls, i feel like kaiba would have turned out even MORE evil. she would have had to prove herself twice as hard as a CEO, and probably be treated worse by their dad.
Replaying Skyrim because sometimes you itch for the janky ass bullshit and guess who hasn’t changed from when they were a wee bird and is still playing a cat girl
I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with relating to characters, “they’re literally me” etc but if that’s the only way you engage with stories you’re kinda missing the whole point of Characters being vehicles through which we can see perspectives outside of our own. and also you’re going to get upset when the Character acts in a way that is not Personally Relatable to You
