Absolutely! 

PERSIA and JOVE are dear friends, who, under unfortunate circumstances of duty and fate, he fought and defeated. They've since reconciled, but it’ll always be there: the ugly scar of betrayal.

He has seen SELENE grow from a young, shining child to the dignified princess she is today. There is tremendous love and loyalty he holds for her. 

He shares a strange understanding with VICTOR - why he left, under whom he chose to serve, and how he can stomach his choices. They both know a thing or two about what it means to have power, so raw and daunting you fear it’ll swallow you; and how that kind of fear can make a person abandon everything.

He feels he has failed NEHELENIA, in every sense of the word. He is terribly, terribly sorry - not for everything he did, but for everything he didn’t and couldn’t do, before it was too late.

i'd love to see more about camille! will her, daphne, and their brother all need to be white/latinx? i guess that's a dumb question but oh well, i can dream lol. (also, i love all these model fcs.)

No, not necessarily! I modeled Paol - the kingdom they’re from - after a Mediterranean culture/climate, so I wound up naturally gravitating toward tanned skin and dark hair, among other characteristics that latinx fcs tend to possess. So yes, I’ll most likely be more partial to fcs that fit those physical qualities, but I’m always open to new concepts and suggestions. 

And I’m glad you like the fcs! I spent an embarrassingly long time picking them out, haha.

Good afternoon, everyone:

As promised, the main page is being revealed tonight! An announcement will be made somewhere between 10 - 11:30 CST. From that point forward, all new teasers, bios, and answered messages will be addressed on the main.

Additionally, two teasers will be released tonight. The remaining eight characters - include my own and Emma’s - will continue to be teased concurrently with bio drops.

Due to a demanding week ahead of me in real life, I will need to briefly put a pause on my regular writing schedule until Thursday. To keep activity flowing, I am choosing to stagger the three bios I’ve prepared, rather than release them all at once with the main. The first one will be posted tonight.

I don't really like model fcs either, especially because of the gifs available. So do would you say that gifs won't be a big thing here and it's really just paras?

Gifs can have as big or as a little of a presence for the mun as they desire! This is a literate roleplay, so I do expect the majority of responses to be substantial (for example, at least a paragraph or more) -  but I don’t have any stipulations as far as gifs are concerned. I understand the muse they can provide, so for applicants who would like to use fcs with more resources, I will happily accomodate.

How flexible will fcs be? I'm really not a fan of using model fcs

I would say they’re all relatively flexible! While model fcs are a personal preference of mine - at least for the atmosphere of this particular roleplay - there are plenty of non-model fc options I’d be just as happy to accept.

are there any cool connections between the characters? could you tell us a few please? thank you!

Plenty! I had so much fun making these characters, but it was a joy especially to come up with all the connections. Here are just a few, from released teasers so far (under the read more).

SELENE and NEHELENIA are two sides of the same coin. One raised in love and opulence, the other left to fend for herself in a world that never made room for her. Selene may be a princess who raised herself a court of angels and forged an empire - but Nehelenia is a queen. They make formidable enemies - and even more formidable allies.

VICTOR, DAPHNE, and CAMILLE are the royal children of Paol - each one a saint and sinner in their own right. Outwardly, the picture is beautiful enough: Victor is the noble heir to an esteemed kingdom, Daphne the poised ambassador, little Camille a charismatic court artist. Underneath, however, things are much, much uglier. There’s blood and vengeance; fervor and decay. Nobody speaks of Victor’s abdication of the throne, nor why he fled north for Nehelenia’s hellish fortress. Nobody likes to mention the wounds that litter Camille’s wrists, the ones she always claims are paint smears. Questions are even being raised about Daphne, and the unsettling company she keeps in recent years. The three of them have become as mysterious to the world as they have to each other. They love one other, certainly, but tensions are rising between the three siblings.

SATURN and ZOYA were once childhood friends - until they abruptly weren’t. In the grimy little village they grew up in, it was Zoya who first saw the spark of magic in him; wondrous, untamed, dangerous. It was she who coaxed him into their strange, delightful friendship, peeling back his layers with one affirmation of acceptance after another. And in the end, it was she who betrayed him: fled the town in the dead of night and left him to burn, alone.
