Do you think ein could have a redemption or am I living of delusion for my favorite character
not to be "too woke" or whatever but maybe don't use the term delusion so casually... it's something people actually have, myself included, and using it in this context really waters it down.
but to answer your question, no. unless they somehow manage to say that "oh EVERYTHING he did was actually because he was mind controlled" (which is stupid) then i don't think he can be fully redeemed. they can explain his actions all they want. a redemption arc wouldn't work for his character; i truly think he's too far gone.
The only thing that I can think of is before Ein goes….bananas in pdhss2 Or kill Michael before he gets Ein which I think is not a redemption but another universe(like my GeinAU) So...my answer is no too
Ein think piece but-
I feel like Ein wasn't entirely this terrible person from the get go as much as it was progression to being one. Think about it, he transfered to Phoenix drop high, and is an omega in this school, and you know what ends up occurring? He gets picked on, now we don't know what happen before Phoenix drop but there is like no way he didn't go through similar before hand? It's make sense, especially as he slowly descents into wanting to have control over others and to be on top of things. Such as when he wanted to be the alpha in Phoenix drop high! And also like even than given what is known, I cannot trust Zack's judgement for many reasons which also included him essentially debating on giving Aphmau the forever potion when she was a child! Also another thing is there is mo way someone didn't notice the shift in Ein at all? Like genuinely there couldn't have been no one who noticed the change in Ein. Or let it go unchecked for that long. An adult who sees that would of immediately stopped it or steer the person to the right direction. Like the way Ein was going I'd assume someone would say something about it or lecture him about how that is not the way.
Just my little ramble here honestly, kinda like thinking about Ein even as his ass is handed to him by Aaron
And that's why it's all mostly Michael's fault, Michael is possibly mainly why Ein is evil(and Zack's neglect)
