My love for writing started when I was in middle school; scribbling little poems here and there. I’d use it to process and deal with the multitude of changes that were happening around me. As I went through high school poems were turned down to write school papers, and i focused on more “serious” things. Now that I’ve graduated and gone through a few years of college I have a little more experience, and I think practicing writing is something that makes me happy. So I’m determined to make more time for the things that make me happy. :)

I’ve always had a love for pixel art! This is so nicely detailed and it makes me think of syfi, space, and fantasy movies! (which I also love!)

At first glance I was taken back by how truly stunning is photo is. I assumed this amount of beauty and wonder had to near Egypt, in the great Sahara Desert. Yet, to my pleasant surprise it was actually taken in the Great Sand Dunes National Park. I had visited there a few times with family before, and it brought up some very happy memories. A pictuer that bring forth bewilderment and happy memories is one I needed to share. :)

Drifting. Ever so slowly and effortlessly. Soft, tranquil, and beautiful. Above the deep, dark, and murky. Without that contrast, that unlikeness, that balance. Both would go unseen. 

I admire Claude Monet’s art very much. In these piece his choice of soft colors and round paint strokes wrap me a sense of calm and comfort. The lilies themselves representing rebirth and enlightenment; for they bloom beautifully from the muddy water beneath them. The type of emotions and thoughts this painting evokes are strong and incredibly deep for me, and I’m sure the same for many others who have also viewed this. Being able bring forth such abstract concepts with only colors and images is why I decided to post this piece. It resonates with me deeply and positively, plus it shows the great skill of evoking emotion.
