Minbox 1.9 has finally arrived! So much faster, better, and feature rich.
Here's what's new:
*Auto-upload Screenshots: Get a sharable link to your screenshots instantly
*Auto-delete Screenshots: Viewed screenshots are moved to your trash, de-cluttering your desktop
*Smart Auto-complete: New ranked suggestions in the composer that continue to improve
*Native Notifications: Get notifications when someone views or downloads your files
*Right-click to Share: Share any file from anywhere on your computer
*Multiple Accounts: Add additional email addresses to send files from
*Mavericks Ready: Support for Mac OS 10.9
*Bug Fixes: A ton of new bug fixes
That last one is important: Minbox is more stable than ever. It takes up just 70MB of RAM. Handles really large files effortlessly. Faster, leaner, meaner.
Check it out and let us know what you think!!
Drug-dealer chic.
We know, there were some problems with our last version that was causing incomplete uploads and other blunders. But today, our latest version is up and will fix (almost) all of your problems... almost. You'll still have to wait in line at the grocery store; you'll still have to sit through shampoo ads on tv; and you'll have to wait for season 2 of House of Cards. But you won't have to wait for your uploads to finish. Just drag, drop, hit send, and forget about it.

#FreakingFast Facts: Video editor, JKL Jockey, addicted to Twitter, nocturnal.
The Quote: "Client wants random file, client has random file."
The Download: Natums started in studio broadcast, worked through different roles in production until he found himself sitting comfy in post-production. He uses his background in production to work with everyone from the DP to the Script Supervisor to get the best of the footage in the cut, often collaborating from the pre-production stages all the way through.
The Daily: Minbox is my new favorite tool for delivering files, small and large, when a client calls out for them. I wrote about how its fit into my digital life in a blog post shortly after I first found it.

PRO File: Steve Marshall
#FreakingFast Facts: An award-winning UK-based Cinematographer. Has camera, will travel. Loves beer.
The Quote: "Minbox is the app I've been waiting for. No more web pages and stupid flash uploaders. No more babysitting/watching a progress bar. Click, drag and forget. It's so simple."
The Download: Steve started working as Director of Photography over five years ago. Since then he's shot just about everything there is to shoot. Feature films, short films, fashion editorials, commercials are all part of his job. Most recently he's shot stuff for Primark, EE and Vogue. On the cards for the summer are two feature films...
The Daily: I use Minbox on a daily basis. My job is so varied - I deal with huge video files, images, pdfs, text documents, presentations and code files. Files are zipping around all over the place and keeping track of making sure all my clients received everything I was sending was a nightmare! Now, everything goes through Minbox.

PRO File: Jake Olson
#FreakingFast Facts: An award-winning Nebraska photographer, specializing in landscapes and original portrait art.
The Quote: “I don't have to wait for files to upload which streamlines my workflow. I use Minbox now at least once daily to deliver TIFFS and other high-resolution formats at blazing fast and hassle-free speeds.”
The Download: Picking up his first camera at the age of 38, after a career in the high-end jewelry business (working for the likes of Cartier and Neiman Marcus), Jake's love of photography was ignited. In the short time since pursuing his passion, he has been published throughout North America and today, his photos can be seen in the book ‘Focus on Nebraska’, published by the Omaha World-Herald.
The Daily: I love Minbox. It was recommended to me by my friend Jason Dulin from Heavy Theory, and since trying it out I've used it to send hi-res files to my book cover agent, Trevillion, and to deliver TIFFS and other hi-resolution formats each and every day.
