I had nearly allowed an older version of Light Yagami to deceive me with cake and candy. Almost directly after, I became friends with a version of him who is close to my own age.
I believe that qualifies as a eucatastrophe.
If you meet Light Yagami now instead of when you're both older, you can prevent him from becoming evil :) It only happens because nothing stimulates his intelligence, but if you were his friend, he wouldn't have that problem!
