This is a timber frame mining processing facility from the late 1800s in the town of Conception del Oro Zacatecas Mexico. The whole place is remarkably well preserved.

This is the tomb of the unknown soldier in St. John’s Newfoundland; they recently repatriated remains of someone whose DNA matched the Islanders. I was recently there for mining conference.

I’m in the mining industry. I will post unusual photos of my unusual life. This is some of the highest grade molybdenum ore in the world. Molybdenum is an essential element in high grade steel, it’s also I think, the only metal that we use as a lubricant.
