Alex sat behind her computer, praying that nobody else bothered her today. Ever since the curse broke she’d had influx of visitors no, ranging in stupidity from helping locate people to those who knew who she was and took their anger at Regina out on her. She’d seriously debated spiking her own coffee just to deal with them all, and the just kept coming, no matter where she was.
When she heard the door open, she didn’t look up until she heard the voice, an all too familiar voice that brought a much needed smile to her face. “Hey there sunshine nice to see you too,” Alex drawled, sipping her coffee and closing her computer. “I’d ask you what your problem is, but clearly there’s no need.”
"So let me get this straight, the dunce of a prince is in charge, the pretty princess and the savior have popped off somewhere else and Regina got sacked? They do realize Charming’s not really a prince, right?” She sighed.
"I dunno. I’d offer to give you a job but trust me you really don’t want to do that. Plus I think we both know the two of us working together would be a disaster. Have you considered…I don’t know…looking at a newspaper? You know, that think with those funny squiggles on it some people call words? I hear they have job listings in there. Oh and…what happened to Regina? Please tell me we’re not going on a witch hunt?”
Rolling her eyes as she trailed her hand along random objects, Isobel glared at Alex mockingly. "Ha ha, you're hilarious." How long had it been since they both hung out together?
She shifting on the table, moving to lie down on it though she had a feeling Alex might just end up slapping her for doing so. Whatever, she didn't care right now. "That's pretty much the gist of it." She laughed, staring at the ceiling before she snorted, sitting up and moving to sit on the edge. "Of course they don't realise. S'far as I know, the only person who knew was Snow -- the Imp and Regina not included. They always seem to know everything."
Rolling her eyes, she hopped of the table and wandered around the room, speaking though she didn't turn to look at her. She was far more interested in whatever her friend had lying around than what her friend was saying. "Yeah yeah yeah, I'd kick you ass in sales and you know it." Sales. Did Alex even sell things? Whatever, it didn't matter. "Yeah right, like a witch hunt is gonna take down the Queen." She rolled her eyes, a small smirk curving her lips.
Actually, she would really like to see them try it. She was due for a good laugh.
"M'pretty sure her kid got her to agree to help bring the other half of the Charming's back to Storybrooke. Something about redemption this, redemption that." Isobel shrugged. It didn't matter what path the Queen chose. Isobel was her servant, new world or not. "I just hope she doesn't force me in to those ghastly rags now that magic's back. I've gotten used to skinny jeans and leather jackets."
