Molly grinned back at her cousin. “It’s excellent,” she agreed. “Can you believe he went from being such an absolute tiny to being, like, the human equivalent of a skyscraper? It’s like, bye Big Ben! Hello Big Lou!” She paused, watching as another image showed up, this time of Louis and Minnie together back in… Molly would hazard a guess that it was right before they started First Year. “Min, can you believe we’re, like, this old? Like he’s sixteen! You’re sixteen! We’re practically ancient,” she said, in a tone which could reasonably be termed ‘verging on dramatic’.
“Don’t remind me! I used to be taller than him, once upon a time. Now he just makes me feel short.” She rolled her eyes but affectionately; it was hard to be anything but affectionate when it came to her family today. Her expression softened further as the new picture came up; she didn’t always show it very well, but she did love her family. They could be a lot to handle and she didn’t always feel like she belonged, but she loved them so much. Shaking off the maudlin thoughts, she turned back to Molly with an amused expression. “We are decrepit old crones, you’re right. I can’t believe we’re even at this party right now. Shouldn’t we be sitting somewhere, yelling at the kids to get off the lawn?”
