ok, so. evgenia.

the daughter of a french fashion designer, evangéline bélanger, and the ever famous victor krum.

both their parents had not so privileged childhoods, and it was important for them that their children learned the importance of hard work and didn’t simply get things because they wanted them. obviously, they never lacked anything, but they were also never spoiled.

okay, so. evgenia’s genderfluid and goes by both they/them and she/her, but only their mother, evangéline, younger sibling, tbd, and best friend, tbd, know about it.

she has one younger sibling in fifth year, and one older sibling in seventh year. i’ll ask for connections soon! <3

anyway! evgenia works hard, no matter what they’re doing. they don’t tolerate laziness or cheating, and will let you know. they expect hard work from everyone and that’s that. their biggest weakness is team work for classes, though, because she wants to do everything. otherwise, she’s a pretty good leader, especially when it comes to quidditch.

plays beater and has done so since she was nine. tries never to aim for the head, though, because there were a few retired quidditch players in her father’s entourage that had to deal with health issues related to head injuries, and evgenia doesn’t believe that even quidditch is worth that.

I. Give one headcanon about their family/home life.

growing up a weasley, louis was never short on affection or role models.  he couldn’t have avoided it if he had tried.  of all his many aunts and uncles, if he had to choose, he would probably say he felt closest to his aunt ginny.  she was the youngest, and the weasley’s only girl in a house full of boys — he the youngest, the only son with two older sisters.  he admires her bravery, and it totally has nothing to do with all the quidditch games he got to attend growing up.

II. Give one headcanon about their personality.

somehow, despite bill and fleur’s best efforts, louis’s personality could best be described as a weird combination of his uncles percy and ron.  the boy lives for extremes:  when he’s passionate about his work, he’s a perfectionist and won’t let it rest; but when he’s bored, his professors would be lucky to get even a half-assed essay out of him.  he loves learning and pursuing knowledge (the hat nearly sorted him into ravenclaw before it caught wind of the “stupidly brave” gene flowing through him), and he just doesn’t see the need to waste his time with subjects he finds no interest in.

III. Give one headcanon about their history.

it was fourth year when louis started noticing that something felt different.  it took him a long time to put his finger on it, and at first he thought maybe it was the veela in him.  after trying and failing to skirt around the subject, he eventually outright asked his mom why he liked boys the way he was supposed to like girls.  she assured him there was no right way to love, and told louis that she and bill were proud of him no matter what.  it’s something he still has a hard time talking about, though he is eternally thankful to have such a loving and supportive family — although sometimes it’s hard to sneak off to a part of the castle where there isn’t at least one snooping weasley.

offices for the minister of magic—louis has decided that people have counted out the weasley clan for far too long.  he wants to make a real difference in the world, and he’s going straight to the top.   it’s not lost on him that he’s following his uncle percy’s footsteps.

prefect—like his father before him, and several of his uncles, louis wears his badge with pride.  it’s something he’s had his eye on since he first heard about the position, and he’s got his sights set on head boy next year.  legacy means a lot more to louis than he cares to admit.

quidditch—gryffindor keeper.  louis grew up on a broom, his aunts and uncles teaching him to fly as soon as his parents taught him how to walk (bill and fleur made them promise to at least wait that long).  quidditch is in his blood as much as being part-veela or the gene for red hair are.  he tried out with seeker in mind, with charlie and ginny and harry all talking up the position so much (going after the snitch sounded a lot cooler than smacking the bludger, sorry george).  he landed a slot as keeper in his third year, and nobody cheered louder than ron.

okay so victoire is honestly a mess, but at least she’s fun (or so she always claims). she’s impulsive, judgmental, loyal, compassionate, social, reckless, and far too aware of how immature she is, but it’s something she’s working on. sort of.

she honestly wants to be just like her parents when she grows up (she refuses to believe she’s anywhere close to being an adult because who would ever trust her with any responsibilities?).

she was convinced she was going to be in gryffindor like so many in her family, but instead was sorted into ravenclaw. it was disappointing until she realized that it didn’t just refer to intelligence, but in her case, her cleverness and creativity.

her internship is with the department for the regulation and control of magical creatures because she is determined to be a magizoologist. she interned last summer with her uncle  charlie and loved it, but doesn’t want to limit herself to dragons. she wants to learn about all magical creatures and how she can help them.

she also plays quidditch as a chaser for the ravenclaw team and thought about going pro at one point before realizing she didn’t have the talent. she’s not bad or anything, but she’s definitely not good enough to play it professionally.

GENERAL

iris grew up in a small muggle community by the sea side alone with her mother, and wasn’t really exposed to the wizarding world up until got her first hogwarts letter. pansy had told her about magic before, and how important it was to keep it a secret, but it was when iris was about to enter school that she gave her more info, so that iris wouldn’t be completely clueless.

iris, um, needs all the attention. the world is a stage to her, and it’s 100% necessary for the spotlight to be on her. always. fortunately for others, though, she tends to go attracting attention in a positive way, rather than a negative one. which means she enjoys being nice to others and making them like her rather than the other way around. of course, she’s not defenceless and will jinx you if you offend her, but generally, she’s a very friendly and popular person.

she feels literally worthless if she doesn’t get the attention she graves. her mother always gave her all the attention in the world, so to iris, not getting attention means not being loved. and only someone with no worth wouldn’t be loved, right?

she can get a bit much at times, so she has a lot of groups of friends she alternates between when she feels like people in a certain group aren’t paying as much attention to her anymore.

she’s a chaser for the slytherin quidditch team, and is actually very good at it. at one time, she dreamed of becoming a quidditch player, but gave up on this dream after a while though. not because she wasn’t good enough, but because it’s iris’ thing. she changes her mind about what she wants to do with her life every two minutes, basically.

loves parties way too much.

muggleborn. middle child, the only one who displayed magical abilities after he began turning water into chocolate milk as a toddler and his parents thought he was the second coming of christ. but, as muggles and adults do best, they simply regarded these instances as either they or gordon himself replacing the water with chocolate milk and went on with their oblivious existences, ignoring the signs that persisted throughout his childhood such as:

created a slave population of the village cats

it wasn’t until his eleventh birthday that an oddly dressed person arrived on his doorstep after his party to explain that gordon was a wizard and, come september, would be attending hogwarts that everything made sense

he was always vivacious and full of life to the point of being a lil terror; charismatic, loyal, and ambitious to fault, and always found himself getting detention at school for one reason or another ( mostly being the fact that the kid literally cannot shut his fucking mouth nor can he be anything but brutally honest. he doesn’t even consider himself brutally honest because that’s just how his entire family speaks to each other and if he offends you... well.... “ have u tried not being a bitch :/? ” )

gordon’s older sister is five years older than him. his brother is seven years younger. since his sister, fiona, is sixteen, she’s out of the house more often than not and it’s up to gordon to take care of his brother, cameron ( arguably his favorite person in the entire universe )

( DEATH TW ) it happens january fifth. gordon’s meant to be looking after cam as he plays outside in the snow. it snowed a lot, rained a lot, the roads were more of a slip and slide than anything else, and the village was under a state of emergency ( aka, stay off the roads for a bit, enjoy some days off school and work xx ). they live on a winding road. gordon wasn’t looking, preoccupied with building a snowman. didn’t turn to look until he heard tires screeching and witnessed a salt truck hit his brother, who had at some point wandered into the road right at the blind curve. 

there wasn’t anything gordon could’ve done to stop it. he was eleven. but as far as he and his parents were concerned, there was. he’s magical, isn’t he? he can do things, he’s going off to study at a magic school. they’ve all seen him move things around before. why didn’t he just magic cameron out of the way? he could’ve done something. he didn’t do anything. his fault. his fault. his fault. my fault. my fault. myfaultmyfaultmyfaultmyfaultmyfault─ ( END DEATH TW )

the mcphearson family changed forever following that. living in that house was like living in a minefield. ( ABUSE AND PHYSICAL ABUSE TW ) anything could set thomas and margaret mcphearson off. thomas chose a hands on method. breathing in the wrong direction could earn gordon physical abuse, but that was nothing compared to a) the anniversary of the accident b) cameron’s birthday c) just having a bad day/too much drink and taking his anger out on gordon. his mother, however, utilized venomous words, gaslighting, manipulation─ her weapons against her remaining son. she effectively crumbled his fucking psyche.  ( END ABUSE & PHYSICAL ABUSE TW )

at first, his sister, a boarding school student as is, avoided the family all together, but in the years following the accident grew more protective of gordon and would try and defend him, but she was rarely home and soon went to university all the way in london. he had no one. 

gordon found his own way to kings cross. picture it tho a chubby 11 year old with an attitude problem traveling from douglas, scotland to london, england ready to snark at anyone who questions it

never met her parents, both died under mysterious circunstances. because they were muggles (or no-majs), not much was done by the wizarding authorities and the family preferred to keep a low profile in non-wixen circles.

cassie was raised by her two paternal aunts, wisteria and agnes. they had to fight to keep her because of the segregation in the us. at the time her parents died they didn’t think she was a witch.

she’s really intelligent but doesn’t care much about academia.

cassie is either in the middle of complete chaos or completely detached from it, there’s no in between

her dad’s a dick but he’s rich and pureblooded so go off ig

he was a quidditch player and he’s unforgiving —- these are probably the most distinct traits mia inherits from him, though they manifest differently. her father was a chaser and captain, whereas she is a beater, because she is protective and aggressive, strong and wild and fierce and willing to use that to protect the people she cares about. as for the unforgiving nature, well. mia tries, sometimes, and certainly more than her father does, but it is hard for her to look past things. the exception is with friends: she will stay loyal to her friends, but she will call them out on their bullshit, which doesn’t always lead to a fun journey, but she doesn’t hold back on either loyalty or hard truths

she’s also a werewolf (pretty important)

it’s. pretty well-known, though it was never exactly announced, per se

sibling/child death tw // she’s been a werewolf for the vast majority of her life, and when she was younger, in those circles of the children of the old pureblood crew, there were rumours about the incident that killed her brother and shook the urquharts, that there was an attack —- everyone knew that thomas urquhart did not forgive the werewolves for taking away his son, and everyone could guess that he isn’t thrilled about which child is left, but eventually the rumours in those circles started murmuring about whether there was a more lasting scar than merely the loss of a son. her parents tried to keep it Hushed, of course, but once a rumour starts, especially with truth inside it, well — they may be hard to prove, but they’re even more difficult to stop // end tw

mia hated it —- hated the way the eyes of certain adults fell on her, hated the weight of the whispers, the way some children held themselves more carefully around her because of things their parents murmured about at the dinner table in those undertones

it wasn’t everyone, of course, not at all. in fact, she still has some friends from those days ( !!! wanted connection!! ), but it was enough to, alongside the cold weight of the air in her family home, make her loathe people looking at anyone like that

hogwarts tastes like freedom

she doesn’t tell people, exactly, about what she is, but she doesn’t hide it either —- she’s more careful at the very beginning, but eventually, well. she doesn’t like the idea of people knowing because she doesn’t like the idea of people knowing her private life, but she also does not want to act like she is ashamed of who she is. there are some of her peers who have heard the rumours for years, and well —- if you don’t hide it, if you don’t flinch from the rumours, don’t try to disguise what days you’re busy, well. someone can figure it out, eventually

it’s the sort of thing everyone knows, even if nobody is sure how they know, and some aren’t sure they believe it —- but some probably know straight from her, or talked to her about it, so hmu if you’re interested in that
