Have we talked about Lamb’s name yet? And the potential symbolism it holds? I mean, “Lamb” is such a loaded word...so much allusion to blood, sacrifice, and Christian theology.

SHEPHERD - a guide in a particular direction

• shepherd is literally a guide for simon, penny, and baz

LAMB - a symbol for innocence

• lamb is the vampire king. he took on a name that’s completely opposite to like, himself as a concept. it just makes sense because with his name as lamb, it’s unassuming and passive to others, just like what he wants to present.
