I’m playing Crescent Memoria and I don’t hate it but I don’t like it either. I finished the second window so maybe things will turn around but it feels too predictable and if we’re gonna follow the classic trope of “girl x girl who is very devoted to her” can we please make it more interesting

But on a positive note, it’s cool to see Mikazuki Villa in the past

So in the U.S. the whole parasite in raw produce thing is happening. Nothing is fueling my fury more than seeing women filming themselves eating a bunch of raw produce saying: “When the parasite can cause you to lose excessive weight 💕”

I’m sure most of these are just jokes but even if it is, it shows how concerningly backwards we’re going in regards to body acceptance which is so saddening to me.

Honestly, I think it would more sense if Mabayu had more karmic destiny and potential than average because in Scene 0, her erasing Homura’s memories kickstarts the timeline where Madoka is able to save all the megucas

Just watched the new Walpurgis Rising trailer. The trailer seems to feature Homura’s system breaking which is really exciting to me because both the original series and Magia Record focus on harmful systems and what can make them worse or better.

The original series showed that an inherently harmful system will stay harmful unless it is deconstructed and rebuilt to favor those within the system rather than those controlling it: the magical girls get saved by the Law of Cycles but Incubators collect less energy.

Magia Record showed that a shift in power won’t save a system that is exploitive in nature. All that changed was who benefited and who suffered: Magical girls turn into doppels but civilians suffer are killed or used for emotional energy by Uwasas.

I can’t wait to see the cause and effect we’ll get from Homura’s system.

I wonder if this scene from the trailer is supposed to represent how Homura split Madoka in half. It looks like this follows the shot where she’s falling. Her wing look tattered and it looks like half of the tail of her costume is gone.

The Madoka Magica guide dog ads are so cute! Imagine if Homura had a dog that she adopted in every timeline or was somehow able to time travel with. Imagine if Kyoko found a stray dog near her dad’s church and always fed it, going as far as to research what human foods are safe for dogs. Dogs can eat apples so she would have a buddy to share her snacks with 🥹

There's actually a Homura timeline where she adopts a dog! It's in the spin-off manga Homura Tamura, so while not canon to the main story, it's an official alternate universe.

An alternative timeline Homura nicknamed Tamura adopts a stray dog in one of her timelines.

After this timeline, Tamura gives the dog to the professor, a different alternate timeline Homura who is a child science prodigy.
