I know broadcasters in ML have always been infamous for airing eps out of order no matter how important it is to see said episodes in chronological order but that isn’t my issue.

It’s the fans.

The fans that don’t tag and the social sites that recommend said posts on my dash. I can’t keep avoiding the internet forever and an online presence is important as a digital illustrator too. 

And I’ve mentioned before, ML is an international show. It is mentioned on EVERY socials and sites such as YouTube, Instagram, etc etc.

It’s just really unfair for people who want to watch it all in order without spoilers you know? 

I did everything to avoid ML bible spoilers and I’ve had fucking idiots reblog my posts here with said spoilers or comment the spoilers. Imagine what it’s gonna be like once the new eps air.

So yeah, just be mindful when you’re talking about the new episodes please.

I never understand people who hate on Marinette because she got people akumatized. She never got people akumatized because she wanted to make them feel bad on purpose or humiliate them and even after deakumatization Marinette apologises for something she didn't even do and she takes all the blame and makes the person feels better. Like how can you count Marinette getting Max akumatized the same thing as Chloé getting Kim akumatized or Gabriel getting Adrien akumatized:

Marinette: *had something else to do at the time and couldn't play the video game right now, Max feels sad, gets akumatized, Marinette lets him play with Adrien to make him feel better and she misses her opportunity to play with Adrien and play in the competition*

Chloé: *makes fun of Kim for the Valentines Day surprise he prepared for her and humiliates him, gets him akumatized, acts like nothing happened and keeps being terrible to Kim*

Gabriel: *shows his wife's corpse to his son, yeets him across the Paris, gets him akumatized and orders him to kill his girlfriend*

Yep, those are equally bad.

Fu should have just ignored HM in the very first episode. HM would have got confused and thought the box is buried deep underground or something. When heroes showed up, HM got a confirmation that the miraculous are in Paris and it's worth it to become a terrorist. Giving out the miraculous was a dumb move.

I think what non-salt miraculous fandom people don't understand about us miraculous-salt people is that, at least for me, it's less that I am saying the character is bad for having flaws or flawed characters shouldn't exist and more that the characters have flaws that I don't think the writers actually intended to write as flaws.

My problem with Marinette's stalk-y behavior isn't that it exists, it's that the narrative as presented treats it like a mildly negative quirk and the plotline of her growing out of it is less about growing out of a behavior that violates someone's privacy and more about getting over her crush and getting on with her life. The plot never addresses the real problem with this behavior showing both that the writers do not acknowledge this behavior as damaging to others and showing children that this behavior is "normal".

I have similar complaints about Adrien's plotlines.

I gave legitimate concerns about what the writers may be inadvertently teaching kids and about the writers having huge blind spots in their writing. It's about both real-world ramifications and narrative pitfalls.

And the thing that really infuriates me about anti-salt miraculous fans is they treat miraculous-salt fans like we are irrational for believing that the writers might have flaws or might not be fully aware of the unintended implications behind the tropes they use for their characters.

And I wouldn't be nearly so worried about unintended messages in the show if it weren't a show for children that's trying to deal with very delicate topics. Children are very perceptive and are growing up in a much more socially aware world that we did or the writers did and any accidental implications the writers might be unaware they are putting in their characters through use of previously standard tropes may be noticed and absorbed by those kids.

I'm not saying never try to write a complex plot or deal with delicate topics, but it is very important to pay attention to fandom observations and critiques because fans are looking at your works a lot more closely and with a lot more perspectives than you.

It’s just our girl being sooo into Adrien . I could totally see her sing that song . I know she is more than just a teen being in love but I find this song really catchy and joyful and that sort of match Marinette’s vibes . The other songs I thought of was «  Surface Pressure » ( especially after season 4) but I can’t really count it as a musical even if Lin Manuel Miranda wrote it .

Honestly I chose this one for the voices , If Nino would have a singing voice it would definitely be Anthony Ramos . Also this part especially reminded me this couple . I feel like Nino is really possessive toward Alya because of his own insecurities ( as we can see in Rocketears) and I would totally see them arguing during a disaster with all the parisians people screaming and panicking in the background .
