A fanmade visual novel that allows the player to play as either Marinette or Adrien. The choices you make as the character will impact the ending you get in the game. The storyline is set between Seasons 1 and 2 and will be different from the original source material.

Will this game ever come out? It's been years 😭

Hey there anon! Thanks for reaching out and sorry it's been taking so long.

Unfortunately, the pandemic really messed up our original speedy progress and it's been a slow process to keep this game going but we haven't given up on getting the tutorial out! We're just a small team of volunteers slowly working away at this project in our free time.

Here are some general updates:

CODING

The good news is that we have a few amazing coders join the team that have gotten us to the point of bug testing and putting in text and place holders! However, they're still working on coding the few mini games that are needed when fighting akumas and a lot of stuff they need to polish the game needs to be done by the art team. We're still always looking for more coders since it's a very busy job so if you'd like to hep out feel free to apply!

ART/ANIMATION

We're really struggling in the art department as a lot of our art team has gotten busy with school/work/life and had to quit the project or even just lost interest in the fandom since time has passed.

If you are an animator or artist who would like to help out please consider applying to the team! Just note that we're trying to keep the style consistent so please apply if you're good at mimicking our art style which is similar to the show's PV art style/anime style.

We desperately need character sprite makers who can mimic the style. We have 2 amazing background artists, but there's a lot of locations planned for the game so the more background artists we can add to the team is always great!

Note: Animation can sometimes be different styles (Such as the prologue we were aiming for the grimoire style and dreams that happen in the game can be any style)

SOUND/MUSIC

Another video will be posted here next week that will showcase amazing muisc created by @de-evilized; however, due to life being busy those are the only musical pieces they're able to contribute to the game for now. Our other music maker (The one responsible for the music in our last video post) is still with us, but his work has gotten busier as well.

We'll probably rely on using some copyright free music, but if any talented music makers would like to join our team please apply!

We're also in search of sound mixers as right now we have one amateur sound mixer who has successfully put all the voice acted lines together but is struggling to clean up and even them out haha. (It's me writing this post) So if you have experience cleaning up audio please also apply!

WRITING/VOICE ACTING

As of now for the tutorial these tasks are done and our team is waiting for the next steps. We will most likely need to recruit new writers and voice actors in the future, but for right now there's no need since there's no work to do.

We appreciate everyone who still checks out our blog and stays up to date on the progress we're making! We hope that with the hype of the new season we can add more new members to our team.

Hello there! We know it's been a while since we've made any updates to this blog but here's an animatic storyboard we have for the prologue/tutorial of our game!

We're still slowly working on the game but there's only about 5 active members so please be patient as we slowly make progress.

Note for the art application: While it's not required to show an example of you copying our sprite style, it would help us a lot in determining if you can help make sprites for the team! Even if it's just a bust sprite we are in need of people who can copy art styles so we can keep the art consistent for the game.

Marinette swallows hard and sidles up to Adrien out by his car. What should she say? “Hi, A-Adrien!”

“Want to come over for lunch?” Marinette means to ask. Instead…

“Want to come on to me?” Marinette blurts, not even realizing what she’s saying until Adrien’s eyes widen. “I mean, uh, want to c-come over? To my house! For the stuffing of f-food into your face hole!” Adrien laughs. “Sure, I’d love to come over.”

Marinette panics.

Marinette’s heart rate jacks up so high that she swoons, falling against the hard planes of Adrien’s chest. He catches her easily, holding her against him.  “Marinette! Are you alright?” Adrien’s eyes light up with concern. “Do you need to go to the nurse?”

Marinette decides not to go see the nurse.

“I’m o-okay!” Marinette insists, pushing off of Adrien with burning cheeks. “I’m in top-tip shape; you don’t need to worry about me.” Adrien doesn’t look convinced. “If you’re sure.” “100%.” “Okay, I’m heading to class. Want to walk with me?”

Marinette falls into step beside Adrien and they make their way to Miss Bustier’s class together. She doesn’t dare take his hand, but their pinkies are awfully close! It’s like she can shed her skin cells on him. Aaaah, how romantic! Now that they’re in class…
