It’s probably similar to Kagami-kun’s I bet. Here let me just bring some things." She’s already packing a bag. Looks like she’s serious about the sleepover thing.

"Of course not, Aida-San" Himuro assured her. "Sure,we can have a sleepover~ I have a couple of movies we can watch if you’d like" he added. He then titled his head. "I haven’t gone to visit Taiga in his house yet, so I wouldn’t know if our houses look the same, although I’m willing to bet they are similar" he stated thoughtfully. He waited patiently as she packed her bags. "Would you like me to help you, Aida-San?

"Alex" Himuro called out icily. "You can stop lying to me now. I can see it clearly now" He demanded, eyes turning lifeless.

“Taiga is your favorite. Always has been. Since he’s the prodigy one, the one with natural talent like you. I’ll always come in second to him…" the teen coldly stated, his face now a cold emotionless mask.

“I’m second place in comparison to Taiga. In both basketball, and to you”

Of course she would deny it, for his sake..

"I do not need to be coddled, Alex. I am not a child, so please do not treat me like one" He requested, cold eyes glaring.

She could at least grace him with the truth… He deserved at least that much, didn’t he?

“I’ve known for a while now Alex. I can never match up to Taiga" he stated coldy.

"He is your favorite pupil, after all”

Alex had to shake her head. She didn’t like to hear Himuro say all these kind of things. He was just in a bad place, that’s all she could think of. But, some of what he said, no matter how much it hurt, was somewhat true.

"Well, you’re right. I could tell that you weren’t like Taiga at all. But, it’s not what you think." He was right, she had to stop coddling him and be open about the whole thing.

"I can’t say that you can’t match up to Taiga because frankly, I haven’t seen all you have to offer. Taiga just is more…open I guess. But I won’t stand here and hear you say that he’s my favorite student when that’s not true at all."

Alex was more than a little surprised to see this side of Himuro. Though, it was almost no secret that he had these kind of thoughts in his mind. She just didn’t know he felt this strongly about the whole thing.
