TADC EPISODE 6: SPOILERS!!
ALRIGHT EVERYBODY IT'S THEORY TIME AGAIN!
- Makes me wonder why they're all in the Digital Circus. There's different pictures of what I assume could be different sections of an office. I did think about how they all might've been from the same building or company, just worked there and it'd be easy not to know each other making me think that the building is bigger than it seems. Are they all the perfect candidates because none of them will be missed based on their personal backgrounds? We all heard about their stories and how they got there. We heard NONE about any recollection of close bonds, like friends or family except Ragatha and Kinger, who had his wife in the circus and Ragatha opening up about her abusive mom. The rest of the cast did not highlight that whatsoever.
• Kinger and Butterflies:
Kinger was previously with his wife until she abstracted. So he got left alone in the dark, Caine probably noticed that he was near abstraction until Ragatha was brought into the Circus. There's a popular theory that Kinger was a developer of some kind. I actually think he might be the one to create this world and he just doesn't remember a thing of it. Perhaps Kinger and his wife were both developers? Slim chance but what do I know, what I do think is Kinger might play a bigger part in all of this because I think he has ties to Caine. It's very strange because he can make something up just like Caine, but it's not explained WHY. Is it really just because of the cartoon logic? Or does he have more control over it than we think and he just doesn't remember?
- Zooble mentions how Caine would sing to them constantly about Daisy Bell but it seems like it's more of a nuisance to Zooble than anything. Caine doesn't seem to ever recall doing that either, so maybe it's some kind of in-program thing when he's idle or a start-up song for his AI loading up. I REALLY do think there's a big significance of this song as it seems weirdly coincidental how, the song features a couple in love and the song is based on one of the mistresses of a King called Edward VII. I've read about how there's a software that would sing the song if asked to sing. If we go by this logic, who told Caine to do that... unless it was due to the glitches?? Or something else?
Breaking the Fourth wall again. Why is he the only one able to do that? Perhaps it's just a gag but I feel like this is important. I imagine us as the viewer, may be important in their world somehow. Bubble was literally holding a camera up to Ragatha and Kinger sharing a sentimental moment. To bring this up again, if Caine is an AI, why or who the hell took those pictures of the computers? Because it's impossible for this circus to run without a power source, supplier, or someone controlling the world.
Now for Jax, this dude is the most contradictory guy. We saw how he had his tail back. It's probably because of Pomni. Someone on reddit said that a rabbit tail falling off is a sign not to be too reckless. So i assume this ties into how he constantly checks everyone's rooms if they abstract or not. He probably learned it happens when people are isolated, in their worst moments and when they're alone. But I don't think it's that easy, he must've learned it from his own experience through the loss of Ribbit, as we've seen when he's by himself in the mirror. I don't think this is the first time he's been near abstraction, he probably developed the ability to notice when he's about to crack.
To calm himself and stray away from near abstraction, he dehumanizes everyone just so he doesn't have to feel anything when someone abstracts. He does care. But it doesn't justify how he can be a jerk. So it has been proven he's been blamed for previous abstractions and he's clearly guilty for it. I wonder if he did that before because he thought it wasn't that bad, a "joke" even. He must've thought abstraction wouldn't be a big issue and that it could be solved, so something like that wouldn't be a big deal for them because they've only come across this problem the first time. How it's a "digital world" and no one can actually get hurt. But upon realizing what it had done to his friend, he couldn't handle it anymore. Ribbit and Jax might've had a fight the same way he and Pomni did, some kind of falling out that we didn't get to see. Perhaps he pushed too far. He was going to apologize but it was too late.
- There isn't a lot to say about this one. There is however writing on the mirror, saying "Chill Fellas". Now I don't know if this is just written by the animators for a funny or is actually plot relevant but some people have speculated that it's Ribbit that wrote it. I'm not sure if Ribbit abstracted, or something else happened entirely. Because if Ribbit abstracted, where or how it affected them? And if Ribbit wrote that, how? If Ribbit didn't die by abstraction, are they overseeing it by interacting with the environment without having a model, or if there is a model, it's not seen by the other characters.
That's about everything I've got in mind. Let me know what you think! But hey, that's just a theory a FILMMM THEORYY OK BYE
