For @levitersora !
Riku inspected the empty coop, keeping in mind of the conversation that happened behind him. He let Sora handle talking to the young lady that owned the missing chickens, knowing that his friend was the better of the two when it came to talking to other people. The more people person of both of them, especially now with how gruff and growl-y Riku seemed to be, all scales and teeth. Sometimes scary.
Riku sniffed once, which was a mistake as he looked within the chicken boxes. Immediately he made a face, scrunching up his nose as he tried not to sneeze from the bird dandruff.
The attempt was unsuccessful, and a loud ‘ah-CHOO` could be heard along with a loud tail thud against the ground. Then the quick noise of a boot hitting wood, oddly suspicious of trying to put a tiny fire out from wood.
With all of... That... Problem dealt with the Draken removed himself from the coop, looking oddly embarrassed as he tried to exit the ‘no chicken’ scene. Leaving slowly floating feathers and a slight smudged burnt mark behind, but took a few of those feathers with him.
Mainly because they were stuck within his hair...
...And would have to pick those out later, or now. Behind the chicken lady’s back, discreetly and hope no one saw the quick swipe over silver hair. Trying, possibly failing at getting all of them out.
He quietly went over to Sora’s side afterwards, a hand upon his hip as he tried to rest his wings against his back and curl his tail near his feet so no one would trip over it. He figured the conversation was coming to it’s end as it sounded like it was petering out, and when it was done, when the chicken lady finally left to stand woefully by the coop and sneeze a few times herself he looked over with an amused smirk.
“So... Chickens?” He raised a brow, looking down towards his now pawsitively feline friend. “Promise you won’t let your cat instincts kick in and eat them?”
