Hi HaVe SoME AnGsT.Â
Local villain adopts every gremlin in the nearest vicinity
everyone on twitter is angry that hordak got voted kinda high on this poll about the hottest characters in she ra, but like...have you seen him??
he’s a super tall guy who says “fuck gender social norms” and wears dresses with slits. that’s hot. i don’t take criticism
Hordak, in season 4: WHO IS ENTRAPTA AND WHO NEEDS HER?!? LOOK AT ALL THE BOTS I'VE JUST BUILT AND THE BIG AF ARM CANNON I HAVE THANKS TO HER TINCKERING, I'M GONNA CONQUER ALL ETHERIA WITH IT AND THEN FACE HER ON THE FIELD WHILE THE WIND PLAYS WITH HER BEAUTIFUL PURPLE HAIR AND SHE LOOKS AT MY CREATIONS WITH SUCH STUNNING RUBY EYES WHILE COMING BACK TO ME BECAUSE I'M BETTER THAN THOSE PRINCESSES, ENTRAPTA WHY YOU DID THIS?!?!? COME BACK *UGLY SOBBING*
My favorite post-show Catra Headcanon is that she randomly shows up at Entrapta and Hordak’s home to rummage their fridge and eat their food.
Sometimes it’s before breakfast, Hordak walks into the kitchen for morning coffee and sees Catra drinking from the milk carton. Other times it’s right before dinner and she just “happened to be in the neighborhood” and coincidentally there happens to be an extra plate at the table.
And every now and then, Hordak walks into the living room in the middle of the night with Catra spread out on the couch, asleep, covered in soda bottles and chips.
Catra always wakes up in a blanket and the area cleaned up. She’s still not sure who’s been putting the blanket on her.
Entrapdak Positivity Month Day 5: Disability
I just love these two — and regardless of them being antagonists for much of the show, they’re important to me as representation.
From the beginning, Entrapta is the only person not intimidated by Hordak. He’s caught off guard by her lack of fear, and struggles to maintain control of the situation, but Entrapta isn’t easily controllable. She doesn’t react like most of the Etherians Hordak has encountered, so she’s unpredictable for him in a way he clearly isn’t used to.
Unlike in her relationships with other characters, here Entrapta’s autism isn’t something she has to “overcome.” It’s just part of her, and in fact, it actually drives the formation of their relationship. She’s able to break down the walls Hordak’s put up just by being herself.
And Hordak definitely has a lot of defenses that he never expected anyone to try breaking through, let alone succeed. He’s used to pushing everyone away by maintaining the image of someone frightening and powerful. Presumably, this is partly fear of appearing weak which is pretty justified considering how Catra takes advantage of it as soon as she finds out, and partly the shame Prime taught him to feel about his disability.
Fortunately for them both, it doesn’t work on Entrapta. Hordak doesn’t scare her, he fascinates her — and she wants to help him.
And she tells him things he really needs to hear as someone dealing with a ton of internalized ableism from abuse, and even builds him an assistive device as soon as she finds out about his chronic illness.
(god i just. love this scene)
Although Entrapta is a lot more self-assured than Hordak is, she has some significant insecurities too — and it’s not hard to see why, when pretty much everyone treats her like this:
would be cooler if the show portrayed this as a bad thing but at least it’s realistic lol
I think a lot of autistic people, myself included, know the feeling of being grudgingly kept around just because you’re useful in some way, but not really understood or liked. With the princesses, Entrapta has to accept this as the closest she can get to friendship — and she tries to.
At first, she may seem unbothered by it, but she’s all too aware that she doesn’t fit in with most people. That’s what makes it so easy for Catra to convince her that the other princesses left her behind. They might think she’s unable to notice the way they act toward her, but she does notice, and it hurts.
That’s part of what makes her relationship with Hordak so important. Yes, she helps him a lot, but it’s not one-sided either. He’s the one person who consistently listens to her and respects her, even before they become close.
They both introduce each other to a kind of respect (and love) they aren’t used to receiving, and may not feel worthy of at first, due to ableism and abuse. They understand each other, they help each other, and their relationship is mutually beneficial.
-
bonus Relatable Neurodivergent Moods with Entrapta:
the “no no I swear I’m listening even though I look like I’m not” lol
and the “wait shit you’re mad?? what did I do? why didn’t you just tell me?”
Also, this scene with Hordak is so relatable for chronic illness/pain:
It’s exhausting trying to keep going when your body is falling apart and seems to be working against you at every turn, especially when you have to hide that you’re struggling and hold yourself to the same standards as a healthy person.
-
anyway, in conclusion: Entrapdak are good rep and I love them. thank u for coming to my ted talk.
Day 28 - First Time, full-color version đź’ś
Honestly I wasn’t planning on ever finishing this one, but y’all asked for it so here it is! In the end I’m glad I did it. The lighting was fun, and I’m kind of proud how it turned out.
Entrapta adopted him, right?
Slumber.

I loved this show and this is my thank you to She-Ra for being such a beautiful show!
they would be the first to have kids, come on guys, it’s for science!Â
Prompt: a young Praxa begs her dad to have a tea party with her, complete with tiny snacks, tiny tea cups, and big floppy hats
"You are all FOOLS!" Hordak shouts. The mining Foreman's he's intimidating are doing their very best to not cower. To be fair to Hordak they did cause damage to a piece of machinery more complex than their biology. It's sort of a big problem that Hordak gets to have to deal with. He wants to literally rip into them, see them cast into nothing. They have hurt Dryl's productivity and that is unacceptable in these trying times.
He even considers going for their throats, for just a moment.
Then a voice speaks up from behind. "Papa!" It's small but stern!
Hordak blinks and turns, looking down at the source of the voice. Standing before him is the tiny form of his progeny. Her burning red eyes staring up at him. "Hello Praxa." His voice is suddenly calmer. Still firm but there is no anger in it, not for her. "I am reprimanding these workers. Give me one moment."
The girl squints, then before Hordak can turn she pulls up a datapad. "Papa we had an appointment!"
Hordak is momentarily stunned. Then he leans forward to look at the tablet. Sure enough! In the family calendar is an appointment for tea time for Lord Hordak and Madame Praxa. How could he have forgotten such an important piece of his schedule. "Apologies." He nods. "I lost track of time." He says. "I will rectify this immediately."
Praxa smiles and nods.
Hordak turns around to the workers he was yelling at a moment before. "Get back to work! We will discuss solutions for this mistake later!" There is an awkward silence in the room which forces Hordak to follow up. "OUT! NOW!"
Hordak turns and nods to his daughter, and lets her lead him forth back into the Crypto Castle proper.
Soon enough Hordak is seated at a tiny table, in a small metal chair, with the properly fancy and floppy hat for such an achievement. Praxa sits across from him. They are on a balcony, overlooking Dryl. "Would you like more tea, Papa?" Praxa asks happily.
Hordak nods and holds out his tiny cup to accept the imaginary beverage. "Thank you, Praxa." He says. "Tell me, how have things been progressing in the land of Wiggleton?" Hordam always makes a point to bring up Praxa's methodical conquest of her imaginary kingdoms.
She beams happily at the question. "Efficiently! Soon everyone there will be brought into my efficient and happy nation state!"
Hordak smiles. "Wonderful to hear! No troubles I hope?"
"A small insurrection in the Kingdom of Snuffletuss but it has been dealt with." Hordak simply nods and listens to his daughter discuss her imaginary conquests, over imaginary Tea, while sitting next to His Majestic Dignatory Lemple, otherwise known as the stuffed animal in the seat beside Hordak.
He can scarcely believe he almost missed this appointment. It is far superior than what he had been doing before.
the Crypto Castle is on fire… again.
Entrapdak Positivity Month Day 15 - Experiment
So I’d like to think if down the line Hordak and Entrapta wanted kids and couldn’t conceive the usual way (or didn’t want to), they would literally make their baby in the lab. I imagine Entrapta would love the chance to see every stage of development up close!
I’m not great with kids and stuff, so I humbly offer this half-formed bean 💜
