Designed these for Asian Mosaic Fund (AMF), which I kinda got involved with my last year of college. A couple of my older friends are on the events planning committee, and I even attended 2 of their networking events and donated $25 (which qualified for a vote for the 2017 recipient).

This is my first graphic design freelance as a postgrad. I did it for free, but it’s nice to design something not tied to my college anymore -- moving up into the real world? Some people believe that you shouldn’t do anything for free, but in this case, I hope to build networks because AMF consists of some nonprofit big-shots and community leaders I respect.

Sadly, I don’t think I’ll actually be able to attend since I’m NYC/NJ based now and Tuesday is an odd day. I am still unemployed, so technically I could go if I wanted to. Megabus is the cheapest to Philly if booked ahead of time.

It’s amazing to see how much a draft or idea can change over time. For the Bi-Co Theater Program’s Fall production of Eurydice, some common themes in the play involved water, stones, string, and leaves. I think I did close to 40 drafts for this!!!!!!!!!!! It was a back-and-forth process of showing my bosses the edits, receiving feedback, and getting creative again.

I designed the @brynmawraasa culture show poster one last time. Here are two designs. The non-diagonal one was eventually chosen because it was easier to read. I think the diagonal one is more unique though. I used different fragments of traditional fabric design from different Asian countries. They bind together like a patchwork quilt to symbolize unity and shared experiences.

I designed this stamp style logo for my friend’s DJ music listening club. I designed it in White and Black. It looks really good as a layer over images or abstract backgrounds. Inspiration for Boiler Chamber (the name of the club) came from Boiler Room.

(used Canva for this one) I designed this one for fun. I had proposed this design for the Dance Department’s Spring Concert (which I was in), but I did it too late and they had already gotten their posters designed by someone else. They told me hopefully next year they could use my designs, and that I would get paid!
