Love you girl. Live your best life even if it means never coming back.
1d10 Shops #TableTuesday
Pet Shop - This isn’t just any pet shop. This pet shop sells only creatures of reptilian origin. Snakes, lizards, turtles, and monitors. Being related to his product, doesn’t phase the lizard-folk shop owner.
Wine Shop - Filled from wall to wall with wines from the ages. Some wines in the shop were created by great lords while others were made by orcs and goblins. The owner is a crotchety old man whose teeth have been stained by years of daily wine drinking.
Hat Shop - Top hat, bowler, beret, bonnet, and turban. This shop has them all. If you need something to cover your head, Miss Wemblmore the halfling has what you need.
Spice Shop - Spices have been an important part of society. These spices have all sorts of uses. Most pertain to flavoring foods, but some can be used medicinally and others magically. The shop keeper hails from far away lands and boasts stock representing her homelands.
Furniture Shop - If you are looking to furnish a hovel, home, manor, or castle, furniture is a must. Making sure that your home has the proper furniture starts with picking the lumber and hiring the proper carpenter.
Bone Shop - Entering a shop that sells bones can be a bit of a disturbing experience. Seeing the shopkeeper can be downright traumatizing. Goblin skulls, orc teeth, horse femurs, and tiefling jaws all find themselves in use in one way or another. Watch your back in the shop, no one knows where the shopkeep gets the human toes.
Fruit Shop - Delicious, juicy, and colorful, this fruit shop boasts all the local produce you would see in a market. In the back of the shop they stock special fruits only found from far away and magical lands. Fruit that comes from living breathing trees, fruit that sprouts wings and flies, fruit that drips with liquid magma when cut open. This shop has it all.
Adventurer Shop - A shop with a single book inside. Within the book is a list of names. Each name corresponds to an adventurer ready to go on a quest, for the right amount of coin. There is no shopkeep and the book mysteriously cannot be moved from its central pedestal.
Statue Shop - Each statue has been carefully and skillfully carved from dozens of materials ranging from wood to platinum. Perhaps a skilled artist could convince the shop owner of hosting his work in the shop to sell.
Seed Shop - If you want to start a farm, grow a tree, or observe the process of life, these seed will provide more than enough for your needs. Many seeds are of unknown origin and effect. Take a risk and reap the potential reward of your unknown crop.
So. Tim accidentally throwing Nanny’s oatmeal into her face?
Him and his siblings immediately gasping and becoming frozen with fear?
Still showing that same fear when Nanny gets upset and starts scolding him?
Fully expecting her to say “I have no choice but to put you in the coal bin.” Because that’s always how they get punished?
Textbook child abuse victim behavior, like wow the movie got all the little touches.
The movie has so many small touches that have to do with child abuse and normal reactions for children who have been abused to have.
Tim is a great example of the child trying to be an adult. When his siblings find Ruth, he is all about how his parents don't like kids especially babies. How he interacts with his siblings through out the movie plus how he gets punished when they do something wrong. The whole time Tim was a child who had been raising his siblings. When they brought Ruth to him the only thing I can think that was going through his head was "No, No, I can't take care of another one. I don't want to raise another one."
Shepard! Want a drink?

THE GREATEST JOKE ADVENTURE TIME HAS EVER WRITTEN
People like to make fun of animators but jokes on them…
WHY’D YALL LEAVE OUT THE BEST ONE?
Can’t forget this gem.
I need 2000% more content of RWBY characters trying eachothers’ weapons
#don’t mess with harley and her good boy
I realized something a few minutes ago.
I don't really see a lot of people talking about Joker's guilt. (Mass effect not dc.)
Even if he plays it cool aside from 1 or 2 heavy interactions in-game, can you imagine how awful he has to feel all the time? I mean. His commander, his captain, his friend with whom he's served for weeks/months/years literally died to save him. Because he was too stubborn to abandon ship. Because he failed them.
Yes, they came back. It's fine. But it's not. They still died for him. 100% done, gone, deadzo, and only through liara hitching shepard to cerberus (at this point in time considered iffy at best, a terrorist organization at worst) was shepard able to return.
Can you imagine? Can you imagine joker having to see their face every day, see the way it's changed and how it scars and glows with certain decisions as a constant reminder that shepard is barely human anymore because of him? Can you imagine the 2 years in between? There's no amount of therapy that can fix that. No amount of medications or talking things out could change the fact that Commander Shepard, first human Spectre, Savior of the Citadel, the galaxy's only hope to surviving the Reapers, a War Hero died. To save him. Jeff Moreau. A pilot with shitty bones.
He can joke and pretend that he's fine. That he's past it. But he's not. He couldn't be.
Every time Shepard goes out that door, he has to be so terrified they'll be gone again. And every time he sees anything on his radar, he has to be gripped with fear and remember how it went down last time.
I won't even MENTION Shepard's cruel ass joke that we can choose, the one where they make light of having died for him. It's been a minute so i don't remember exactly what it was, but i know it's mean. Shepard doesn't get many chances to check in with him, either, to see how he's doing with it all, to ask how he was during the 2 years they were gone.
Ffs, Garrus wasn't even there when they died and he went full ham and became a leader of a merc gang so good at their jobs his codename is known far and wide. But what could Joker do? He can't fight. The man has a difficult time walking. So he had to sit there. For two years. Knowing that it was directly his fault that Shepard died. Hating himself every day until finally, out of the blue some 24 months later, he gets a message from TIM saying that Shepard is gonna need a good pilot, and without even a second thought he jumped at the chance to be there for his Commander and to serve them right this time.
Look Joker doesn't get a lot of flak, and i'm grateful for that. But he doesn't get a lot of love, either. He's not just a funny dude with a terribly animated face who flies the plane and has a thing for a sexed-out robot. He's a super complex character and i wish more people recognized his trauma.

//MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS - HERE IS THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF FINDING THAT RIGHT WORD!!!!!
I’ve reblogged it before, and I’ll reblog it again
imagine instead of a peaceful and graceful first contact, aliens are pissed at us and the first contact is just them complaining how hard it is to study us.
“DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT WAS TO STUDY YOU PEOPLE!?!?! OURS BIOLOGISTS HASENT HAS SLEEP IN WEEKS TRYING TO STUDY THE ECOSYSTEM YOU KEEP CHANGING! one generation its on the verge of collapse, with clear intentions of killing it. then the next generation you are hell bent to repair it! dont get me started on how much of a headache it was that you kept reviving extinct species you killed! we look like total idiots having to go back and change reports to the empire! not to mention are engineer also wants a word with the person who keeps changing tech so that they have to start almost from scratch studying it! like you went from not knowing anything about space to ‘oh we know the composition of near by exoplanets, how they formed, and how the universe was created’ and ‘we should colonize and terraform this planet.’ WITH IN FOUR GENERATIONS! YOU EVEN LANDED ON YOUR *(&(*^(^*&^& (translation unknown…likely to be a swear worse then any word we have) MOON WITH IN TWO DECADES OF DISCOVERING THE TECH TO GO INTO SPACE! oh and our scientists studying human culture wants kill you all herself because you keep changing culture almost on a daily bases!!! and not to mention you somehow DOUBLED YOUR LIFESPANDS SOME HOW. AND OUR GEOLOGIST IS FREAKING OUT BECAUSE YOUR PLANET DIDNT EVEN HAVE OXYGEN ORIGINALLY AND A FREAKEN CORAL MADE ALL OF IT, FROM WHICH OTHER LIFE FORMS ADAPTED TO THE OXYGEN! oh and dont even get me started on your ‘internet’!”
this would then launch a new golden age of human progressiveness and technological advancements greater then anyone has ever dreamed for one goal, and one goal only. to troll the aliens as much as humanly possible.
it will be the galaxy’s greatest prank.
just finished my 5th play-through of the Mass Effect Trilogy. paragon Shepard in ME3 be like
