29. “Please, don’t give up on me.”

“I can’t.” She panted. She rested her hands on her knees, wobbling a little when she tried to walk.

“Come on, [Y/N].” Steve ran back to her. “Ten more minutes. We can do it.” He helped her up and gently led her to the grass.

“Fuck you, Steve Rogers.” She mumbled, collapsing to the ground the moment Steve let go of her, chuckling at her suffering. “I did not ask for this. I give up.”

“Please, don’t give up on me.” Oh no, he didn’t. He gave her his infamous puppy eyes and he even has the guts to jut out the bottom of his lips, as if his usual pitiful expression wasn’t pitiful enough. [Y/N] looked away from him and sighed.

“I hate you so much.”

“Come on! It’ll be fun! You said you want to do couple things together.” Steve beamed. He offered his hand, which she begrudgingly took.

“I meant dates. Not morning jog.” She rolled her eyes thought her lips twitched into a tiny smile when he kissed her.

“This is a date.” He grinned. “Come on, I’ll buy you that decadent coffee you like when we’re done.”

“You better buy me a thousand of those, Steve.”
