MISANTROPIKAL

My name is Sara Valenzuela, or Misantropikal. I am a filmmaker, cinematographer, photographer and DJ from Chile. Currently based in Madrid, Spain. I recently finished a Masters in Direction of Photography for Film and TV in Madrid. I have worked as a photographer and filmmaker in documentaries, events, music videos and fashion films. I am deeply interested in dissident, migrant and critical human narratives. As a DJ I move to the rhythm of Latin, hip hop, and postpunk sounds. I have lived and worked in places like Barcelona, Berlin and Belgrade.
