calm days and mild weather , it’s a town of history that he finds himself in and a town of dragons to top it off . druddigon becomes his first pokemon through unknown events --- a bond through similarities ? perhaps ! a child who befriends a dragon with such relative ease is bound to be the talk of the town ; as though he’s destined to be one with them , he finds joy in their company !
but an accident at 12 leaves him fearful of arrows with a mother who carts him off to alola , only to meet her end to an unfortunate run - in with a ghost and a man zeres couldn’t recall . old enough to battle , he thrives and survives in combat with those of his age and far older and becomes near notorious for tactics that are too dangerous for both the opponent and the other trainer . such violence , however , finds a home more on a stage , with opponents difficult and rowdy all the same : battle royale ! he takes to the stage with a fierceness and fame to match it , known by his adoration of dragons and a love of pokemon as wild as he is . there is of course more self - control than he would have normally utilized and by no means was he the best at what he did , but his notoriety in battle left people with his name in their mouths .
NAI THE DRUDDIGON // starter and best friend , they are close as pokemon and trainer can possibly be .
MIKOTO THE GARCHOMP // a pokemon named after his mother , he finds himself a bit protective of her , more than he had before her namesake’s demise .
ANAN THE KOMMO-O // first pokemon caught in alola as a jangmo-o , he names it after a figure he doesn’t remember .
CAESAR THE INCINEROAR // a fighter through and through , he finds the litten as a rescue and treats him better than whoever held him before .
PANNY THE PANGORO // he held no inspiration on a name , but she is a valuable member nonetheless . zeres’ most frequent training partner .
ZAPPY THE JOLTEON // the laxest of the crew , when zeres wishes to relax . the two hang out more often than train .
YATO THE VICTINI // to mimic the yato he’d wield in canon . mischievous and troublemaking , whimsical and fun-loving . it matches the personality of its trainer . near never used in battle , he keeps yato close by .
